After over three years of Trump I'm quite happy with boring, especially over know-it-all types that suck at delegation.
FWIW, I decided to build a drama-free dream team, not so much a crew that makes for great TV.

I'm cheating.
I'm using a 100% Holodeck crew that can be instantly swapped in and out for whatever situation arises.
I'll let the Holodeck AI figure it all out. I just want to kick back in the Captain's chair.

I'm insulted there's no Chief Science Officer position for an organization dedicated to exploration.
The way I look at it, is people should be listed in multiple categories if they have multiple positions or skills. There's so few in the shows
Spock is considered chief science officer but takes up the first officer role
TNG doesn't have one, Data fills the role at times but is considered Operations Officer and second in command
DS9 has Dax
VOY doesn't have one until Seven who is never official in that rule and isn't in any form of command position
Enterprise has T-Pol until she is promoted out of that position
Discovery doesn't have one but Stamets is the best suited to the role we have seen.
