I love them all and Code Veronicas is obviously fantastic, but my favourite RE save theme is actually 0.
These threads are always interesting. You all post all this music from games I've played, sometimes even games I played the night before and I don't remember the music from them.
I haven't committed a piece of video game music to memory since whichever Final Fantasy it was that first had the scales in it.

The first and only thing that popped into my head, and I haven't even played the game.
Firelink is special and classic, but yeah I also have a strong fondness for Manila's theme.
This is one of my favorite pieces of video game music in general. Just so good!
This is excellent too! I haven't played CV (or heard this) since it launched on Dreamcast. I didn't realize how seared into my brain it was! Instantly recognizable.

This one might be a little bit of a stretch, but Frontier Village in Xenoblade 1 felt kinda like a safe haven after going through Makna Forest.
I haven't played Chrono Trigger in over a decade but this was the first music that came to mind when I saw this thread.

One thing you must never lose is courage. If you believe in the goal you are striving for, you will be courageous. There are many difficult times ahead, but you must keep your sense of humor, work through the tough situations and enjoy yourself.
When you have finished this cup of coffee, your adventure will begin again. Next, you must pass through a vast desert and proceed to the big city of Fourside.

By far my favorite "safe area" music.
Ico's soundtrack, this track in particular, is one of my all time favorite game tracks. The Electric Co nostalgia it gives me, makes me shiver. It's too good.
As a note, RE1 had the best safe room music of the series!

In the Dark Arisen content of Dragon's Dogma, there are safe zones between all the madness (I guess RE style in a way, the DA content isn't exactly open world the same way the main game is)

Yeah basically at least almost all of the RE save room themes are up there for me. XD
I guess something a bit different, but there are definitely some nice pleasing music in FF14 towns, especially at night. I think one that really stands out as a feeling quite chill and safe is the Rhalgr's Reach night one.
