The fuck is this?Um did you know they're not connected. Wow era with the takes again.
That's great. I would still like to play the other games in the series.I know era loves to rush to shitty hot takes, but you might not have noticed this, but neither Bravely default 1 nor Bravely second are on switch either.
The games are entirely unrelated, in the same way each Final fantasy game with a different number is entirely separate
You can start with this one if you like, every game plays more or less very similarly. I'd say BD1 slightly edges it out but 2 fixes some of 1's glaring issues. That's great. I would still like to play the other games in the series.
The fuck? Absolutely not, terrible advice.Note to PC players: Play this on mute and skip every cutscene if you wanna actually enjoy it.
Epic would have paid for that
Epic didn't pay for it
Well, square should asks epic if they want this too, because they won't get money from me with this regional prices.
Standalone!
Thanks. painful to have Troy, tales and this all at the same time
Fixed, going by other Atlus ports.
UE4 is heavy on consoles. I wouldn't worry about the pc version.Hoping for a performance boost. The Switch version certainly strugged to keep up; those split second hitches and pauses were the most glaring.
Nice, wonder if we'll be getting Xbox and PS ports for it too sooner or later
Doubtful, because there's no audience for games like those that aren't AAA titles & because they don't sell well on either Xbox or PlayStation. That's cool news. Still waiting for Octopath to drop on PlayStation… any day now… right?
i just don't get SE
they fucked up the regional prices...they added Denuvo
but they put it on steam??
where Kingdom hearts on steam SE???
how the sales going there, huh? i am pretty sure it seeling millions now.
why not make this port for epic exclusive too??
Note to PC players: Play this on mute and skip every cutscene if you wanna actually enjoy it.
The gameplay is the only good thing about the game, so yeah. The characters and story bored me to tears, easily the most painfully generic shit I've experienced in a JRPG in a long time.
Octopath got an xbox port and included in gamepass, i expect this one will do the same in the futureDoubtful, because there's no audience for games like those that aren't AAA titles & because they don't sell well on either Xbox or PlayStation.
Astral Chain is now 100% owned by Nintendo. Now, who do I need to bribe to get more ports of NS games which could have a transformative experience on the PC? Astral Chain, Ultimate Alliance 3, Disgaea 6 and many more. I have this sinking feeling that Megaten 6 will join this list too… At least we are getting Rise PC next year.
What's Denuvo and whats wrong with it?
You're never seeing Astral Chain (Nintendo IP) or UA3 (Nintendo x Marvel collab similar to Spider-man on PS4).Good, Bravely 2 felt like it was struggling heavily on the Switch, the bad performance made me pause the playthrough indefinitely. The game should benefit significantly from the PC power, faster loadings being the primary concern but also 60 fps and anincreased resolution. It is running on UE4 so it is promising. I am buying this Day 1 and finally committing to it.

It really is. Given the screenshots, would feel more sensible to play this on a smaller screen.
I think so. In Brazil Blaster Master Zero 3 and Nocturne also have worse regional pricing that other games from those pubs and all they have in common is a Switch version.Oof at that regional pricing. For whatever reason both Octopath Traveler and BD2 cost more than any other game from Square, I wonder if they have some kind of agreement with Nintendo to match the price of a Switch version.
Much of this can also be attributed to a complete lack of marketing (as well as being a late port). There was nobody pushing the game on Steam like there was for the Switch version, which Nintendo pushed for months with Directs and other advertising. SE did virtually nothing, much as they'll do for this. The game is out in 7 days and this is the first we've heard of it. No demo or anything either.Octopath traveller still did way better on switch than steam. It's just laser targeted at the audience most likely to buy it, which is on switch.
Only one that didn't was Collection of Mana.It was actually expected lol.
All SE exclusive games on Nintendo Switch comes to PC 7-12 months after Switch release.
You can also expect Triangle Strategy to come to PC.
If Microsoft and Sony bankroll the ports they will.Nice, wonder if we'll be getting Xbox and PS ports for it too sooner or later
Now we need Bravely Collection (Default + Second) for Switch & Steam.
Only one that didn't was Collection of Mana.
Triangle Strategy definitely will.
If Microsoft and Sony bankroll the ports they will.
So only count on Xbox/Gamepass.

Ah, right. The World Ends With You Final Remix is also Switch exclusive despite the fact Mouse controls would probably work pretty well.
That too!Isn't Collection of Saga exclusive still, too? Althought it hasn't been a year since it's launch, so it could still have some contracts pertaining to it.
