they might especially after this performance, although i think canelo still planned to fight him regardless just down the road.

GGG is washed and is trying to cash out and DAZN needs to line up as many big fights for Canelo as possible

Yeah, and we've seen him gas out in spots at middleweight vs GGG. I wonder if the extra weight will work against his ability to break Kovalev down.
