My parents will defend Boris' constant blatant racism but call Corbyn antisemitic. The media's played a huge role in doom mongering against Corbyn's 'small' mistakes (small in comparison at least whilst ignoring the bigger issues like him being pro-Brexit) whilst brushing the Tory's many travesties and blatant racism under the rug.

Corbyn isn't even trusted by many in his own party. He's sat on the fence during much of the Brexit years. Anyone competent would have Labour fucking miles ahead by now. He also showed his true colors by snubbing Trump but lapping up a state visit by the Chinese who have probably the worst human rights record on the planet. I could go on but I can't be arsed. Abbott is not competent. She also unfortunately is the subject of some horrendous abuse that people would be locked up for if they weren't hiding on twitter, so I'll leave my criticism of her at that.

Banquets: It would have been nice to have him boycott the Xi Banquet but talking to evil people is a part of politics. I think he specifically didn't meet with Trump due to his racist attacks on Sadiq Khan. Literally none of the Tory's would have boycotted either for any reason nor would most of Labour. Also I don't whatever happens at a banquet quite compares to letting people die.
