Borderlands 3 seemingly reference Randy Pitchford's USB porn video(?)

When I see this, my first thought is: how many times will this game include jabs at the people who've publicly rebuked Randy Pitchford during the related, insane litigation process? Wade Callender and David Eddings both spoke out against Pitchford when that story emerged.

(Reminder: After I found this podcast's existence, Gearbox issued a formal PR blast linking to the "magic squirting" podcast. I can't imagine being an employee at Gearbox when that happened.)

That interview was clearly purposeful, Randy didn't just offer that up out of the blue he offered it up to put up his side of the story he knew would end up in the lawsuit against him.

When I posted my story about all of this, I pointed out the timestamps on every single thing going on between the filed lawsuit and the time that podcast was recorded and posted. All very odd.

We're still waiting for our invite to view a massive archive of "peacock party" videos, as well. I wonder if those will get referenced by a BL3 quest or weapon.

Some weird theater that's open to the public I guess but doesn't show up on google maps. Apparently does his magic shows there.

I think it's hilarious. OK maybe not hilarious but certainly funny. Now if we find out later that they team did it and then said "Hey randy we have this item" and he was to chicken shit to veto it, that would make it hilarious.

He's already gotten away with being irresponsible with the thumb drive, apparently they got it back from the person who found it and I don't think there were repercussions other than his reputation. And that only happened because of a mostly unrelated civil suit that doesn't directly have anything to do with the thumb drive story.
