who would've thought...As expected, people generally don't care which store it's on before purchasing a game they want.
Where does it say that?As expected, people generally don't care which store it's on before purchasing a game they want.

Edit: Looks like its 5m in shipped now Matt says that. So dont know what it is atm.
For me the big news is 70% digital. Retail is dying quickly, I wonder if it hold on one more console cycle.
Highest selling 2k game on PC is a pretty good indication.
Are you really being petty about the game doing well?... I'm happy for the folks at Gearbox minus Randy.
Cant stop the Borderlands train. Congrats to the devs.

I think that depends on the audience for the game. There's probably a big crossover between the audience for Borderlands and Fortnite - so they're already on-board with EGS.As expected, people generally don't care which store it's on before purchasing a game they want.
What do you mean? The game has some issues it has to patch out but it's not enough to hold out purchasing. On the one hand i'm glad for the devs who worked on this, on the other hand this also proves, that people don't care about the technical state games release in :/
The "highest selling 2K title on PC" does.
2k are lying about themselves? :lol
How would that lead to the conclusion that Borderlands 3 would have sold the same whether it was on EGS, Steam + EGS or just Steam?
Well then, now time to wait for those numbers of the "hardcore" audience getting the game on Steam come February.
Same, this is the biggest news here, that's a huge rate. While retail will be gone in two more cycles, I think it will survive one more. I bet this upcoming one truly will be the transition period. For me the big news is 70% digital. Retail is dying quickly, I wonder if it hold on one more console cycle.
Rockstar is 2k (unless they count it separately). How would that lead to the conclusion that Borderlands 3 would have sold the same whether it was on EGS, Steam + EGS or just Steam?
What would have previously held the title of best selling 2K game on PC? Bioshock Infinite maybe? A lot of their more mainstream games aren't big on PC (NBA, WWE), or are big within their niche but not mainstream games (like Civ/Xcom).
My guess is that they would count separately.
