The downgrade on Switch isn't worth it. Go PS4 if you have it. PC is the best version, but PS4 is the best of the console releases.
That depends on if someone prioritizes frame rate over resolution. I do but others may prefer the 1X's 4K with dips below 60fps. Either way, people should know PC is the best then watch DF's comparison (video and link to the thread is in Threadmarks) to decide what is best for them. They should also know that crashing and freezes for a second can happen on the "stable" PS4 Pro so it happening on the Switch isn't because of the platform.

Sorry to bump this thread with some semi off-topic stuff, but has anyone in Europe, Germany ideally, gotten their physical backer Switch version yet? Got shipping confirmation from Fangamer on June 25th, with estimated delivery between June 27th and July 3rd, aka today, via Deutsche Post (yuck, and untrackable).

Post for today was already delivered, and of course the game is still missing in action.

I've just written an e-mail to the Fangamer orders support, but this is beyond worse how they handled the backer shipments. Could've played this game for a week already on Switch if i would've bought it at retail ...

I feel pretty overwhelmed with the sheer number of crafting materials, food ingredients, weapons and so on..
My progress with farming is so slow. It feels like I spend more time googling for "bloodstained <material>" than actually playing.

I watched all the credits at normal speed. I sort of wish they just omitted the clan name entirely rather than stuffing "No Clan" in there when I didn't pick one.

Only performance fixes you can hope for on the Switch is reduced load times and reduced input latency. Expecting better assets/textures is setting yourself up for disappointment.

LOL There's something about that last part that I kind of enjoy doing (not exclusive to just this game, but most drops do seem more forgiving in this than past CVs).

Ya guys weren't kidding about Den of Behemoths being complete garbage. Seems like next to no resources went into that stage.

Honestly I thought it was the Evil Version of the Garden of Silence (or whatever that zone is called.) Especially since that's where you enter from. I could've stood to see more of the castle depicted like that -- things going wrong, more brutal enemies and environments.

What's up with the boss difficulty balance in this game? I fought two that were a complete joke then the blood lady who was actually a decent challenge. In general the game feels a lot easier (on normal) than most of the Igavanias.

i finished it today, 100% map 100% shards, level99 all quests done. 58 hours. whew what a ride. Now I am depressed.

I dealt 3000 crit damage with my gun at the end.

What's your setup? I haven't crossed the 3k per hit threshold yet, but I'm 100% FC same as you, so I should be able to.

So this game really is just SoTN lol, just beat the boss that is the equivalent of Richter it would seem. So many areas I can't get to yet, game seems big as hell.

Why in the fuck did they assign the place/remove marker function to Circle button on the map screen? In every other menu screen, Circle is used to go back. But oh no, not on this screen. I always end up accidentally adding markers without meaning to. Just one day of observing players playtesting the game should have brought up this very obvious issue. It's crazy how rough around the edges this game is in some aspects.

58 hours??? Wtf that's insane. I haven't played it but what could drive the playtime so high? Getting to 99? Or is it really that long or filled with content?

I would have been fine with the portal leading to a mirrored, more sinister version of the Garden with the red moon lighting and tougher Morte enemies made of blood or something. It would've been a thematically appropriate place to fight the

Grinding for all shards to rank9 and grade 9 takes time.
Feeling like this is on some NVMe or using RAMdisk. Mine is fairly close to this, even running through Proton with a "slower" NVMe than a Samsung.

It's an "inverted" stage (if you will) that doesn't last too long. I thought it was neat, if nothing spectacular. More memorable than anything outside of the tower, cathedral, and termination hall.

Yeah, it took me awhile to realize this was happening. I had like 5 or 6 markers and they were so perfectly placed in rooms I thought they were some kind of secret. I felt like a complete idiot once I realized I was placing them there lol.

Hm, does Dantalion's buff stack with Sacred Shade? Honestly, I end battles well before he can buff me lol. I think my ATK stat reads something like 917? What's yours at?

EDIT: I can't check right now, but I think I also equip Firearm Expertise. Other than that, my loadout is identical to yours. What demon are you testing against? I checked my numbers against
the Revenant.

Yes it stacks.

I am at 930 or so.

But it is possible to go higher if you lower your hp and go with red rememberence and that ring.

May be simplifying somewhat, but CON is your innate physical defense while DEF is your total physical defense (taking armor and such into account). Same relationship with ATK and STR. INT is magic/shard attack while MND is magic/shard defense.

CON and HP are unrelated (D&D, this is not).

DEF is a combination of your CON and your equipment's defense stat.

Hey everyone, Igavania is now officially back, but the journey hasn't been without its share of challenges along the way, and as Iga recently said, we still have work to do. As a way of saying thank you, all digital and physical backers $60 and above will receive the digital soundtrack.

Backers at the $60 digital tier, as well as all backers at $100+ tiers, will now also be receiving a PDF version of the art book.

We're also pleased to announce that the backer-edition soundtrack is available in FLAC as well as MP3, created from the CD soundtrack masters. We heard your feedback on this. (No pun intended.)

Speaking of goodies, we'll also be distributing keys for the Bloodstained dynamic theme "Miriam's Gaze" to all PS4 digital and physical backers today for free. North America and Europe PS4 backers should see them on their survey page in the next couple of hours.

The performance at the very end (base PS4) was unacceptable. The boss with the casino chips was the most egregious

When he did the "chips slam" the framerate tanked so hard that it was almost impossible to dodge. Nice that the attack also hits like a truck, like over 300 damage. WTF where they thinking? This game isn't finished (Hall of Behemoths etc.).

Here a wonderful tip that helped me through this boss, in case anyone's in need.

Equip Aegis Plate ---- Invert ---- Profit!

It's pretty much perfect except for that joined hands slam he does.
