I haven't seen one posted for this year, so apologies if it's a repost. What did you wind up getting this year? Did you stick to your budget, or wind up overspending? As mentioned in the title, pics are more than welcome.

I'm currently writing my own haul up and will post it shortly.

A netgear wifi extender
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

I might buy Far Cry 5, too.

Steam Controller too, but that was pre-BF.

RTX 2060 for about ~275 USD. I am happy with it. Decent price for a decent gpu. I am not buying anything else, I'm done.

HITMAN 2
Walords 3
HoMM Chronicles, 3, 4, and 5 Complete

Usually I get like 1 game so I'm happy!

I'm still thinking about Starcraft Remastered but I don't know if the campaign enhancements alone are worth buying it. I wouldn't be doing multiplayer.

The only reason I go out on Black Friday is to do my Toys For Tots shopping as it allows me to stretch my budget the furthest. Here is this years haul:
  • Lego set
  • 4 Star Wars action figures
  • Girls bike

Thus far I've only bought 2 things:
Steam Controller for $14
Days Gone for $20

Not really looking for anything else specific, but I'm keeping an eye out for crazy deals.

Xbox Store

Modern Warfare Operator Edition - $63
RDR2 SE - $35
GTA5 $9

Vudu/Xbox Store - 4k versions

John Wick 3 $10
Godzilla KotM $10

It's a light year in comparison to what I use to do, but my wife bought a lot of stuff though for her which she usually doesn't do on BF.

PSVR for 199 usd, since I was already going to get it for BoxVR exercise, after I tried it for a few weeks when a friend borrowed me his.

Sony Wh-1000xm3 for 300 usd, I was eyeing them for almost a year and finally caved in.

I wasn't really planning to spend that much, but I got some unexpected bonus money from a project I did some time ago, so what the hell.

My haul is as follows:

Gamestop

Mafia II (PS3)
Mass Effect Trilogy (PS3)
God of War 2018 (PS4)
Spider Man (PS4)
The Division 2 (PS4)

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Wii U)
Tales of Graces f (PS3)
Tearaway (PS Vita)
Trillion: God of Destruction (PS Vita)

Overall I'm really happy with the GS haul. I was originally planning to buy God of War, Days Gone, and Spider Man Complete Edition from Amazon, but took too long to buy and missed out on the original print copies of God of War. It turned out that Gamestop had a B2G1 on current gen systems, and a B1G1 on past gen systems, so I wound up getting most of my games there. The second set of games (Danganronpa downwards) were really cheap too thanks to those deals, as well as the CAG16 coupon (16% off 3 pre owned items), and I figure it's a good time to pick up those last few past gen games I want physically before they get cleared out. If i didn't have a Gamefly subscription I'd for sure have spent a bunch more there. I just wish I didn't miss out on a copy of Tokyo Xanadu for Vita :(.

Best Buy

The Martian (Bluray) - I've wanted this for a long time, and couldn't resist at that price. It's one of my favorite movies, and I rewatch it at least once a year.

Target

Days Gone
3x Nintendo Switch Online 1 Year Memberships

I'm happy with this haul. It was great of Target to have free shipping for Days Gone, and when I woke up yesterday I was really glad to see the Nintendo Switch Online memberships still in stock - I'd have assumed they'd be sold out. This is one of the things I'd planned on buying, so saving $15 helped. I just wish you could stack more but you can't have everything.

Amazon

Netgear CM500V
John Wick 1 (4K)
John Wick 2 (Bluray)
John Wick 3 (Bluray)
16GB of ram
Western Digital 4TB Caviar Blue hard drive
Jackery Bolt 6000 mAh power bank

Honestly most of this is impulse purchase territory, but it's also stuff that is necessary. We've been needing a new modem for a while, and this will save money over renting the modem from our ISP. Similarly, my PC has been crashing frequently, thanks to the ram, and also I've been short on space, so I'll definitely be putting the ram and hard drive to good use. The John Wick movies, as well as the power bank are Christmas gifts.

Other

3x Playstation Plus 1 Year Memberships

I'm disappointed with this one, honestly. A few days ago, I opted to just get 3 PS+ memberships from GMG, and paid $42.74 each. If I'd waited I could've gtten at least two of them for $36. Ah well.

All that said, it wouldn't be right to not post pics, so here's the stuff I have so far.

Picked up Days Gone for $20, The Council (Steam) for $9, and a 1TB NVMe SSD for $150. Not the most exciting haul but I figured I might as well get a new SSD now for a few bucks off since I'll want it for next gen anyway

So far, just The Outer Worlds for $35 and Aladdin/Lion King for Switch for $15. Might pick up a PS+ subscription and look to see if any SSDs are on sale to put in my PS4.

I missed most of the big name ps4 games. I buy one or two games a year, and all I play is Monster Hunter, but this year I splurged a little.

Got God of War, Devil May Cry V, Days Gone and Spider-Man. I copped Horizon complete last thanksgiving for $7, and I just started that, so I've got ps4s greats lined up for months now.

Not much.
- Yugioh Switch (Haven't played since the GBA games)
- 2 Amazon 4K Fire Sticks for my parents

Some anime I got for really cheap came in today, so I guess that technically counts.

Control for $25 from Amazon. Pretty slim. I was hoping for A Plague Tale to go lower on XB1.

I did get a good deal on a WD 5TB external drive and The Evil Within 2 ($9.99) a couple of weeks ago, but technically those don't count. And AC Odyssey Gold and Hitman 2 Gold on earlier deals last week.
