Snyder was a producer on Suiciee Squad, but I'm glad Ayer is out too, for some reason I thought he was directing this.Lmao so basically every non-Snyder DC movie with the exception of Suicide Squad is a fresh scoring movie.

Why are you in a critic review thread then?
Uhh. Ok.
Well I'll be damned.
I think DC has strung together enough solid to great films for me to give them the benefit of the doubt now.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one.I know Aquaman isn't for everyone but please tell me you've seen Shazam
I know, I'm just messing around... Really anything over an 80 for this film is a huge win.
Back up to 90% now.
Very very unlikely those will be bad films. Those folks will keep taking Ls.I'm sure they'll wait for the goal posts to move to WW84 or Batman
My spoiler tag a few posts above quoted the final section of that review. Not familiar with the reviewer, and can't say I'll read anything of his after reading that massacre. Ew.
Aren't you just setting yourself up for disappointment then?I didn't really like Robbie's Quinn in Suicide Squad but these reviews seem good, maybe going to see this in the theatre rather than waiting.
He sounds like this movie personally offended every fiber of his being. Imagine getting that upset over a movie.Good grief at the SF Chronicle's review. What happened to that guy, I wonder?
Those scores are literally not comparable. MC is a score aggregate; you'd compare to the review average on RT (8.24/10). The 94% just means that 94% of reviews were positive, whether that means "it was okay" to "it was a masterpiece"
This movie is going to draw a lot of assholes out of the woodworkMy spoiler tag a few posts above quoted the final section of that review. Not familiar with the reviewer, and can't say I'll read anything of his after reading that massacre. Ew.
I'd hold off on that. Shazam didn't do so hot even though it was pretty well received, and a lot of these movies are pretty much disconnected from each other.
Strange how the removal of Zack Snyder and David Ayers has drastically improved their film output.
The further we move away from Snyder, the better the DC movies get. What a surprise.
Can't wait to see this.
If you wanted any proof that Metacritic is bullshit, there it is. All it takes is one review. It's not like Metacritic ever checks for integrity.Well that's some bullshit. That dude's review was added to Metacritic and dropped it down to a 59.
