Hot track off 'Thug Motivation 101: Let's Get It'

Ayy, ayy
Ayy, ayy
You gotta believe, you gotta believe
Ayy
You ain't never seen them pies
I'm talkin' so much white, it'll hurt your eyes
I really lived it, man
Counted so much paper, it'll hurt your hands

Eminem threads are always wild here.

Anyway, I support the Liquid Swords mentions in this thread. It's lengthy, but it stands out and has a great transition into the album proper.

Dark Fantasy by Kanye West is, imo, one of the best intros.

It is lavish as fuck and really sets the scene for what vibe the album will have.

I got one that's not mentioned yet:
This might be the hardest No Limit track period. TRU is probably their best album too.

The intro track for Ghetto Dope was pretty epic too, one of the best tracks on that album (along with Bourbons and Lacs). Its literally a crack recipe

I don't want to judge. I just want to post great intros. This one just sets off the entire album. It lets you know that Ice Cube was on some next level shit. Or it did when I first heard it in 1991.

This one doesn't count. But I listened to the bootleg version of this album so much that I often forget it's not on the album.

Nah.

All in all, I think Hov got this one too. Both line for line, how the flow meshes with and matches the beat and as far as the overall vibe and atmosphere the track almost effortlessly creates.

It really sound as grandiose and ominous as an intro to the birth of a new DYNASTY should.

Now, walk with me :

" The theme song to The Sopranos
Plays in the key of life on my mental piano
Got a strange way of seeing life, like
I'm Stevie Wonder with beads under the do-rag
Intuition is there, even when my vision's impaired, yeah
Knowing I can go just switching a spare
On the highway of life, n*gga, it's sharp in my sight, oh!
Keen senses ever since I was a teen on the benches
Every time somebody like Ennis was mentioned
I would turn green—me, being in the trenches
Him, living adventurous, not worrying about expenditures
I'm braving temperatures below zero, no hero
No father figure; you gotta pardon a n*gga
But I'm starving, my n*ggas, and the weight loss in my figure
Is starting to darken my heart, 'bout to get to my liver
Watch it, my n*ggas; I'm trying to be calm but I'm gon' get richer
Through any means with that thing that Malcolm palmed in the picture
Never read the Qur'an or Islamic scriptures
Only Psalms I read was on the arms of my n*ggas
Tattooed, so I carry on like I'm nonreligious
Clap whoever stand between Shawn and figures
Ni*gas say it's the dawn, but I'm superstitious
Shit is as dark as it's been, nothing has gone as you predicted
I move with biscuits, stop the heart of n*iggas acting too suspicious

This is/was food for thought—you do the dishes!"

It's STILL the ROC 😃

i knew this was a classic the moment i heard the first 4 barz lol
The fact that I still havent been able to find an actual clip of this online thats not a remix, instrumental or from a concert is wild.

That was my contribution to this thread on the first page, lol.

Some of the greats were already shared (shoutout to Lupe). The intro to Born to Reign actually goes in hard. The rest of the album doesn't match the energy but this is one of Will Smith's best songs.

an artist in Detroit made a mural of Eminem but apparently it got vandalized less than 24 hours after its completion
