I remember wanting one of these so bad when I played PSO on the Gamecube.
Steel Battalion's controller is definitely up there. I think it was $200 at the time. I think this would be a lot of fun to play with.

This is something I've wanted for such a long time, as impractical as it might be it's too adorable.

I have it, it's actually a rather nice feeling pad. Good for playing Terry in Smash if it weren't a bit laggy.
It's a Wii Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick which I run through an adapter to play Tekken 7 on my PC, modded with Sanwa Bat top stick, Sanwa octagonal gate, and Sanwa buttons.
Best and novel because it's compact, feels outstanding, and one-of-a-kind.

There were a bunch of Pistol Grip RC Car style controllers made for PS1/PS2 that looked like this, but there was one specific one I got from Goldenshop that had two separate triggers, so that made it great for racing games. Perfect for Re-Volt. Too bad I don't have a picture of the exact model.
