With a nuke (and accompanying EMP pulse), every phone in a several kilometers radius would be toasted.

That's crazy. Firework factory explosions can get pretty huge (see this video), but I've never seen one with a mushroom cloud before.
Hoping it was evacuated after the fire/first explosion before that.
A nuke even a small one would be extremely bright. This explosion is probably some sort of chemical explosion but it definitely looks massive. The blast wave probably destroyed windows for miles.
It looks like the beige building at the base of the explosion gets totally obliterated in the blast.
Or is it just enveloped in the shockwave?
