Mods for other stuffs for the game is in the work

Right now, full modding support isn't available, only custom song loading, so you won't have mods like SyncSaber or even ScoreSaber to track your scores online (local leaderboards will have to do for the moment).

The good news is that some extremely smart people are working on it now and those types of mods should only be a matter of time. It's an exciting time that we live in and with the Quest costing on $399 for a full Beat Saber platform, we could easily see the size of our massive community triple as I know SO many people buying one who couldn't afford to get into VR before.

You can sideload content onto it without hacking it. Think people have loaded the GearVR version of Minecraft onto it too as an example

So, what's the general consensus on the Quest, especially compared to the PSVR?

Graphics wise it's more or less the same, if not a bit worse. VR tech-wise it's like SNES (PSVR) to N64(Quest). Room-scale 6dof tracking is simply miles ahead of anything that can be done with PSVR. Whether or not that translates into "more fun" is up to devs and preference I guess.

Another (probably bad) analogy: PSVR is like having a steering wheel and pedal controller setup. Quest is like having a car.
