Well, I've done exactly what I said I was going to do when I picked up 2042, I've played BC2 maps extensively since launch, as if it were a main mode. But I'm the same person that played the BC2 Beta and BC1 Demo as if they were full games. For literal tens of hours. Something that I've noticed about their design is their very clear map boundaries. For example, on Arica Harbor point 2 attack, snipers like that high ledge roof sightlines, so if you avoid those, you don't have to worry about snipers. If it's been too quiet or the enemy just won't go away, there's probably someone just spawning all their teammates in the structure closer to the beach. It's stuff like that, it's just a process of elimination in terms of what you need to do and where you want to go. Stealth is something that's entirely doable.
Oh yeah, and I've switched my PS5 to the PS4 Pro version and it's much more fun. It runs at like 1800p 60fps which tbqh might be an improvement over 55-60fps 4K. That and to be really real here... the reduced graphical settings make the game far easier to read. That's my truth. When I go back to the PS5 I'm gonna turn as many visual options as I can off.
It's funny I kind of like the intro. It's one of the things I miss when I play vanguard since they don't have intros like other cod games.
I don't mind them, but probably it just has too many cuts. The composition of the little reel has each clip last
just a little bit too long and there's
just one or two too many.
