Vehicles too right? Seems like when cars are found in bodies of water they turn out to have been there a real long time.
Definitely, and I think there's a story about those every few months. They're usually accidental deaths, though, or at least the last few I remember were. People just driving off the road.

Yeah, they so far ruled out any supernatural casues, including witchcraft, vodoo curses and Sith force powers.
There's no evidence that they didn't drown naturally and the barrel didn't come later to try and pickle or age them, as barrels will naturally do

It's from 40 years ago, so there's a very good chance that the person responsible is already dead.
Maybe but it could've been someone young who did the murderin'. Or maybe an accomplice is still alive.
