I really liked it, maybe not as much as the original. The only Klonoa game I think is bad is Klonoa Heroes which is a top down action rpg slog that was never localized.
They just had one, they aren't going to have another General Direct until next year.
Klonoa is a 2d platformer and a solid one at that. The game is not very lengthy but has s nice visual theme and lovely music. It may not be groundbreaking but they are a fun and light experience imo.
Got this, amongst other games, with my PS2 back in 2002. Loved it. Replayed it just last fall - it's still amazing!
Hey it was a decent little action game.
And man do i want a rerelease of that. It came with 3 of the splatterhouse gsmes, but in general i would like a compilation release of these games as well.
I know this phrase has become a meme at this point but Klonoa on the Switch is a perfect fit.

I agree, it's "decent", but it's Nothing like previous games.
I hope it's exacttly that, that game was underrated, and it's easy enough to play the classic games. Hell, that game even has the classic games in it!

The only thing better than waking up to news of a prospective Klonoa announcement, is seeing a thread full of fine people singing my boy's praises.
There's definitely some activity involving Klonoa going on behind the scenes then. The two mainline games are utterly wonderful and Klonoa has long deserved some form of revival, so I'm glad Namco are finally pulling their thumbs out of their butts.

I actually own both the Wiimake and 2 but haven't played either.

No joke, a potential Klonoa DtP/LV remaster combined with the recent news of expanded DLC fighter spots in Smash and the fact that Namco still doesn't have a second rep (despite being the developer), has given me newfound hope that our boi could maybe, just maybe, make the roster. He's #1 on my Smash challenger wishlist. It would be a dream announcement for me.
