Wow, he looks like an absolute wreck. I feel bad for his wife in that one video.

I've always disliked Bam...
but this is just sad.

Everyone else grew up. Bam just wants to get drunk and be the asshole.

Guy needs help, but he needs to want it. I remember seeing him in an airport years ago and he was really nice. I hope he gets help.

Hasn't bam always been the outward asshole of the group? Even though I know deep down addiction is a serious illness, it's hard to muster sympathy for this dude. Either way, hope he can get some help.

Bam's gonna follow Ryan to the grave by drowning himself in booze. Its as simple as that. I dont want it to happen as Bam was my favorite back in the day but I dont see this ending any other way at this point.

Bam has always been the least likeable of the group.

I'm all for a Jackass without him.

But I'm not sure Jackass has much left to do, as big of a fan as I am.

Bam is such a sad case. Everyone around him enabled bad behavior and covered for him for far far far too long and just looked the other way as long as MTV was writing checks. His uncle being a fucking creep and Ryan dying took what was already a really shitty situation for an addict and cranked it to 11. I know he is also dealing with pretty severe bipolar disorder which cannot possibly make any of this easier.

I'm hoping he can get clean and stay clean. I just worry that everyone who could help him that is left in his life (parents) basically spent most of his 20s and 30s allowing him to spiral for money.

Honestly, I think the movie was a mistake as so many of the people involved probably need to stay the fuck away from one another for their own physical and mental well being.

In the 2000's, I always saw Bam as what Bart Simpson would grow up to be and thought that was so cool. But now I see how fucked up his life has been and how many enablers he must have around him.

I hope he finds help soon.

It's getting to where I see Bam in a thread title and my mind jumps that he's died.

I hope he gets the help he needs. 2021 needs some redemption.

Kinda where I'm at. I liked his relationship with Dunn but found him the most obnoxious and least able to take a joke when it was on him. The very definition of "can give it but can't take it". Was all fun and games when he was pranking others but when the tables turned he'd cry or throw a tantrum.

Having said that I wish him the best. Steve-O turned it around pretty well so hopefully Bam will too... Eventually.

This dude should be on someone's watch. That video was a little unnerving and scary. He could hurt himself at any one time.

I grew up watching their show as a kid but after they spot light ended, I moved on. Still kinda sucks to see him this way. Wish things were better for him though I think part of the problem is himself.

Bam looks to be a few months older than me, and looks 10-15 years older than me.

He's lead a hard life. Hoping he pulls through, if only for his child and family.

I'll add on that a Jackass 4 always felt like a mistake. It's been too long since the last thing they did, they're all old, and several of them could relapse into some rough stuff.

Maybe they could just stick with talking shit with each other via podcasting or streaming, and cut out the body torture that a Jackass would bring on.

There was a time when I thought Steve-O was a goner, it's really an amazing thing that he has been able to overcome it. Hoping the same for Bam, but the way he is pushing the other guys away worries me. All of these guys know addiction very well. If Bam isn't able to stay sober the way the other guys did, it's going to be a much higher hill to climb. I'm rooting for Bam, but it's up to him at this point.

Bam Margera Getting Help for Manic Bipolar Disorder After 'Jackass' Rant

Bam Margera says he's getting help to treat manic bipolar disorder one day after going on a 'Jackass 4' boycott rant.
Bipolar is such a horrible thing to have to deal with, especially if you get full on manic episodes. Mania can fuck a person up for months or years, like it does me. Shit, every time I have a manic episode, I believe I'm Jesus trying to save the world. It's insane how much it can change a person, which in return pushes you away from your friends and family. I hope he can get the help he needs, whether through counseling or medication. I hate to see people suffer from bipolar, so here's hoping that Bam can get it under control.

I'm glad he is getting help

For as much fun and joy these crazy dudes have given me its hard to see them work through so many tough obstacles in their lives over the years

Yeesh. You can tell the team behind Jackass is trying to help him, which makes the entire situation feel all the more "rock bottom" and sad to see.

I hope he gets his act together for his own sake.

The band is still active, but yeah the stunt crew was kinda absorbed by Jackass and Bams side projects.

CKY is a two-piece now, with Jess Margera and Chad Ginsburg dragging its corpse around and trying to get whatever they can out of the name. The founder, singer, and person responsible for their distinctive sound has his own project now called 96 Bitter Beings, which is basically just CKY. He just can't use the name.

He also resurrected Foreign Objects, his band before CKY. He has some crazy ass riffs.

Brutal. Hope the best for him and his family. He was a huge part of my tv rotation as a kid.

I enjoyed their last album. Didn't know about Foreign Objects though, definitely gonna give more of their stuff a listen.

Foreign Objects is a nice middle ground between his CKY style and his World Under Blood melodic death metal stuff. Galactic Prey was a concept album and him basically nerding out on Sci-Fi horror, and there are some really good tracks.

MTV's schedule is like 90% Ridiculousness which is mostly Jackass like fail videos,
they also continuously try to replicate it so they are after something.
Most recent attempt was this turd

I remember when Jackass had a disclaimer that neither MTV or the production would watch any VHS's (damn) sent by fans or whatever. This trash seems like some random dudes would send Jackass if YouTube existed back then, awful.

He's only 41 yet he's looks like his dad from the mid 2000s.
Hope he gets the assistance he needs to turn the corner, heartbreaking to see him like this 😕

Phil was in his mid to late 40s in the mid-2000s (roughly 46 to 49 during the show), so it tracks, especially with the substance abuse.

Hope Bam gets the help he needs.

I know that the Jackass guys are like one big family but they really shouldn't have even let Bam on set, it's clear that he was in no condition to be doing that kind of stuff anymore, especially given the trauma of doing it without Dunn there.

Bam was the reason its taken this long to do it,
Steve-O and a few of the others have done multiple interviews saying Bam was unlikely to return or that the majority of the cast was against it for his sake.
but he also said in one interview every once in a while random other members would start getting cold feet about doing it without him,
at times some thought it would do Bam even worse to be left out.

Bam was apparently pleading for years to do another and suggested it could help him.
he made a lot of promises and Paramount made him follow a strict guidline.

Sad to see him like this. I used to watch Viva La Bam, Wildboys and Jackass a bunch when I was younger.

That dry heaving at the end really got me. I'm not an addict, but I've dry heaved/threw up from panic attacks and it's not pleasant at all. It downright sucks
