Azumatei Kwaidan is a 3D action-adventure game.

It is a full-fledged 3D action game with an emphasis on a sense of tension, and a fusion of point-and-click adventure.

The setting of Azumatei Kwaidan is an old mansion where many mysteries, complex mechanisms, and youkai exist.

Players will overcome the various difficulties in order to rescue the inhabitants of the mansion.

Hopefully this gets released in the West. It's interesting as we don't really get Japanese PnC games (except for Clock Tower), especially in the indie/doujin scene.

Sounds like this PS2 era horror inspired indie game is finally coming out in English:
