All someone has to do is make the chicken noise and he'll be back to doing these tomorrow.

Good. Now I don't have to worry about his bullshit cutting into my DVR recordings.
He should invite Vince McMahon and two wrestlers to the briefings. He could talk shit about vince and then the two wrestlers could beat each other up and Trump could get his hair shaven at the end. That would be much more informative I think.
Oh shit. I just got flashes of Konami's E3 2010 conference after reading this.

Living in Canada and the contrast between Trudeau's conference and Trumps is crazy... one guy is pulling pseudo science out of his ass and the other one is saying he'll leave it up to the scientific experts to make calls.

This clown shouldn't be up there at all... he's a danger when he starts spewing garbage.

Imagine if our elections went differently last fall, we'd be along for the coronavirus shitshow ride.

His advisors have absolutely told him to limit all his briefing and exposure in general leading up to the election. None of it has been good for him.

That's too bad. I heard they're getting great ratings and with the inhaling bleach and vaping disinfectant it seems they were starting to find their audience.

Imagine if Trump was even halfway competant how easy it would get to earn brownie points. Bush's polling aafter 9/11 was like at 90% because, evil and dumb as he was, he could still string sentences together and had competant (if evil) advisors that he listened to. All his little speechs about terroism has people clapping and breaking into tears, and they were all kinda shit.

Trump can't even do that. It should be SO FUCKING EASY to make a simple speech about "standing strong together" or "help one another" or whatever stupid buzzwords you want, and have the sheep clap and cheer for you. And yet he utterly failed at it.

I think in his worldview that doesn't exist. He's never thought about unity, only about winning. And to be a winner there has to be a loser.

Another reason you guys might want to consider is the possibility of a increase in cases coming which also makes him look bad for pushing for states to lift restrictions. Today is the new highest case count on record. Plus next week we are breaking 60k deaths which we were told was the new long term final tally. Things are getting bad on all fronts for the country as a whole.

Whenever his aides manage to get Trump to keep (relatively) quiet for a little it's always short lived. He's an out of control narcissist that can not handle not being the center of attention.

Lol. Why would the secret service waste their fucking time to protect a president's ego?

The real danger for Trump is that these tv briefings are pretty much just confirming what everyone thinks about him. Hence the polls showing his numbers going down.

It has been the case throughout his presidency that the periods where he is least seen tend to see higher approval ratings lol. So much for the master of the media
