That Street Fighter thread has got me thinking how OP the word hyper is. Hyper should be used for most game titles! I can only think of two or three that use it :( but if the word is in a title it's getting my immediate attention.

Cases in point; these titles go from good to hyper (you have to read it in Sagat voice tho)...

Hyper Overload
Hyper Alpha Protocol
Ar Tonelico Qoga: Hyper Knell of Ar Ciel
The Legend of Zelda: A Hyperlink To The Past

Which words do you think should be used more often in game titles?

I feel like "Black" has a really great edge to it in titles although it's not used often. But compare Ninja Gaiden to Ninja Gaiden Black and NGB just sounds super badass. Other titles I can think of...

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Black

I like random letters and numbers, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 has a vibe. And the rare few Switch games that got a simple "S" (which Dragon Quest XI kept when ported to other platforms for some reason.)

We were also robbed of Ultra games

Buggery.

For example:

Call of Duty*: Buggery
Player Unknown Buggery Grounds
Bugs Bunny* & Taz: Time Buggery

*Could replace with Buggery

Midgar, With Love
It would be appreciated if a publisher would give the word Duodecim a chance. I also enjoy the way "Birth by Sleep" sounds, albeit only in that order. Along similar lines, whilst on a walk the other day I decided to combine words: Theatrhythm sprang to mind. I'm not sure about this next one -- looking for opinions -- Integrity? Or maybe Faithlessness? In any case, definitely Pictlogica.

Revengeance is already the name of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Let's find some fresher fare, y'all.

As a non native speaker, my favorite word in English is "flabbergasted". It sounds cool and I can't explain why.
Use it.

Gamer's

as in

Gamer's Final Fantasy XVI

That way it would be like a good pasta sauce, you know it has been approved by gamers.

Well since I like Portal the game so much I'd say Portal. Super Mario Portal Brothers. Halo Portal. Elder Scrolls VI: Portal Edition. Heck we already had a space core from Portal added as a mod to Skyrim so why not?

As non-native speaker, I've always found the word "smorgasbord" quite funny. Yeah I'll go with that.
