God damn it. I thought this could be a sequel to that Mad Max game.

The only thing with that HP game that I'd be uncomfortable with is giving J.K. Rowling more money.

That leaked Potter footage looked interesting, though like many others, I maintain they should rip off the Persona formula as much as possible.

I would play the HELL out of a Harry Potter Persona clone. I hope it's precisely that and not just another action-RPG full of generic fantasy quests.

I hope this will launch on Switch too, WB has a pretty great output even for their AAA games like MK11 but the leaked footage seems very advanced in terms of effects so I am not betting on it. A calendar system would work pretty great on a portable tho.

Maybe WB will have their own press conference this year and show off multiple games. They said they wanted to do one and probably would, a few years ago.

This Avalanche was founded almost a decade before the Swedish one.

I don't know, is there? because the last few days made me question that.
It's going to be interesting how they market this considering it's an all new story that isn't related to the books or films. Most people are going into this expecting the same world as the films lol.

I was hoping this game was going to be next-gen only, but with XBox doing their thing, with their exclusives being cross-gens for the first 2 years, 3rd party devs will probably follow the same path.
I just hope current gen doesn't limit this game too much, because juding by the leak trailer, they had interesting things in mind, in terms of destructive/transforming environments.

Its weird they would let millions and millions of players out of such a big game, from such a big franchise, but i guess you have to give us a reason to buy next-gen consoles...
As for creating a new thread, i think we can continue speculation here. I mean, there's not much to dicuss.
Next-gen apparently, there's a trailer, a good description of what the game will be like and judging by the job listing, it should be announced in the next 6 months, so maybe wait for the announcement and then do a discussion thread, idk...
