I like the core, visual concept of this, people on jet pack things flying around battling giants a'la Empire Strikes Back AT-AT battle, but the series as a whole jut turns me off so much.
I'm not an anime fan (outside of Akira) but there's something about this series that absolutely rubs me the wrong way.

Looks like this gonna be another situation like Brotherhood then where the manga finishes just before the anime covers that arc.

It's a strong, consistent show. All the twists and turns are clearly planned out from the beginning.
Can't believe they made the 2020 release date. This is easily in my top 5 of all time anime series.
I think it's safe to say that it's one of the best anime of the last decade.

There's actually four weeks of seasons 1 to 3 recap before that first episode, so it's more like one month into the cours, in a way, but... yeah, it's fairly unusual.
I'm one of the many people that binged the first season when it came out and then lost complete interested when it took four years for season 2 to come out. I hope to watch it all the way through once this season is complete.
There's nothing lol worthy about the truth. In terms of both quality and popularity, if you have to make a list of anime from the last decade SNK is on it 100%.

I always felt like the manga has gone places I rarely seen a shonen go to.
Shonen is just a demographic, you can have a mature Shonen story just as easily as an immature Seinen story. It means nothing outside of the magazine it's published in.
S3 reveal about what was really going on was mind blowing, none of my theories came true, can't wait for S4...
