I also found a side quest where you get a special cutscene for killing the target, like after you assassinated a story target.
I totally didn't expect that from a side quest.

Ok so beat the boss, (first try), do I have to wait for it to appear again? The marker is there but it's currently underground next to the Giza temples.
Ah oke. Instant charge sounds good. Not so far yet. Do you guys dismantle purples?
I honestly don't know what to tell you. PS Pro version looked great and ran fine till this last patch. So,should I avoid the ps4 pro versión and wait to buy an one x to play this?
Yeah, it was a great surprise, too bad it's not more used for side quests. Some side quests just end with the assassination of the target, no conclusion.I also found a side quest where you get a special cutscene for killing the target, like after you assassinated a story target.

Unless they're punishing the score because of the downgrade, they can suck a dick. 6 my ass.
Edge has no idea what they're talking about. I don't like most of the entries in the Assassin's Creed series but Origins is turning out to be my GotY.
We don't know yet, but it's possible! Hope is bitter my friend.

This isn't my video, but this is some of what is going on now with the PS Pro. The LOD texture pop in wasn't like this last week.
X has this bug also since yesterdays patch. But abit less looks like it imo. I havent it seen that bad but it has the bug.
Not sure just my eyes but it seems draw distance been reduced with this new ps4 patch. The pop in seems be more noticeable also more animals dropping from sky as dropped in
Agree. This is a solid 9 for me, if not more. Excellent game all around.Edge has no idea what they're talking about. I don't like most of the entries in the Assassin's Creed series but Origins is turning out to be my GotY.
Heh you got a chuckle from me :PHuge shout out to Ahasverus for being on top of the patch issues from day 1, even though in some instances they come off like this:
:p
Well you might be in luckHonestly they should just go full Witcher 3 with AC at this point. Give us multiple quest lines, endings, dialogue options etc.
I know there's a kind of canon here but everything they've done in this universe since ACII has been well... trash, if we're being frank about it. There's lots of potential here but they need to work out this writing problem sooner than later.
Once you reach 20, XP gain is slow so you can enjoy everything that way.The game won't let me enjoy the way i really want to.If i explore the world and do random side-quests and tombs then i will become overleveled for the Main Quests like in Alexandria where i was level 18-20 and missions level was 12(everyone died in 1-2 hits).
Right now i am just going from target to target without really focusing on the world and it feels terrible.
Sprint is just holding the stick in. That's max speed, horse speed depends on where you are, (you go slower in settlements), and type, chariots are the fatest.Massive apologies and seventeen pineapples if this has already been answered, but...
Is there a sprint in this game? I may just be being thick, but it feels wrong not being able to sprint, or at the very least, make my horse go faster...?
This actually reminds me has anyone tried easy mode to see how much it reduces the emphasize on stats?I am kind of surprised people like it going more and more RPG hybrid and complicated. I still prefer the more simple ACII and Brotherhood gameplay tbh. Crafting and loot and leveling and damage per second stuff annoy me in this series.
You can get a faster horse. Sprint is just pushing the analog stick up.Massive apologies and seventeen pineapples if this has already been answered, but...

Okay. I have some pictures here that I took today. The game should look similar to this:Heh you got a chuckle from me :P
Hopefully all the noise has been worth it (seriously, I've been making lots of posts on lots of places).
The thing is that I really think of games as a work of art, to which technology should just serve as a medium, not getting in the way of it.
Whatever technological shenanigans happened with 1.03 are a hindrance to the game as /a work of art/ and such it should be denounced and hopefully addressed.
Hope that explains my stance a bit.
1.05, we're ready.
I killed Anubis and he gave me this sword and a gear item. Does everyone get same weapon?
I fucking love this game. Started Horizon and was like ehhhh and went back to this.
Dear GodOkay. I have some pictures here that I took today. The game should look similar to this:
How many pixelated trees can you spot? Bottom middle, see that tree?
How many do you see here:
More than 10?
Remember that tree from the first shot?
Here's a base Xbox One shot from launch with that same tree as on the X:
I'd really like to see that second scene as it was before the recent patch.
Any idea why there is a constant snake hissing sound everywhere?
Yup. I think we need a bunch of them to get the Anubis costume or something like that.Yes, I got the exact same sword. I think that might be hard coded and not random like most other loot drop.
Did you also get 1 blank looking "Anubis set" item that goes into your Inventory tab ?
I can forward the idea to Eurogamer and DF, but otherwise, we don't actually share editorial teams and have zero input on what they cover. (And vice versa.)Good, thanks.
I know that they have a ton of work, but maybe we could ask a DF article? They are specialized in comparing patches.

Fuck EDGE then
