The comparison doesn't really work though because who has anointed this GOTY? The last week or so has just been media outlets left and right shitting on it (whether warranted or not).The title isn't comparing Hitler to Cyberpunk, it's comparing how both received 'honours' for negative reasons.
The article is about how it is the 'game of the year' (for the wrong reasons).The comparison doesn't really work though because who has anointed this GOTY? The last week or so has just been media outlets left and right shitting on it (whether warranted or not).

Really good point, I can kind of see what they were going for in that case but...man, that's one helluva nasty clickbait way of pulling in readers.The article is about how it is the 'game of the year' (for the wrong reasons).
Making the comparison to Hitler is always the nuclear option.
I think everyone "mostly" gets this
It's just, you know, you can't help but feel the comparison invites the acknowledgement that this is a video game, and Hitler was Hitler.
Of course, but it's still in poor taste and obviously clickbait to do a compare/contrast in the title of a videogame review.
I fucks with Paste's music reviews where they've done a solid job over the years , but this?
Why people on this forum hate hyperboles so much, you're so boring.
Based on what's in the tweet, it isn't comparing Hitler to Cyberpunk, it's comparing how both received 'honours' for negative reasons. That is to say Cyberpunk is the 'Game of the Year' because it's the game which has had the largest impact on the year (for all of the 'wrong' reasons) in the same way people get awarded 'Person of the Year' for having made a significant impact on the year (for positive or negative reasons).
Maybe they should have used Trump instead of Hitler and made the same point without the repercussions.
Some brave enough soul made through the article and can provide us with this article insightful excepts?
Hyperbole is fine. Comparing a Polish studio to a man that killed several million Polish people is so utterly stupid that I can't comprehend what Paste was thinking.Why people on this forum hate hyperboles so much, you're so boring.
TLOU2 = Schindler's List
Cyberpunk 2077 = Hitler
13 Sentinels = Saving Private Ryan
13 Sentinels erased all of the black people who were actually there in the battles historically?TLOU2 = Schindler's List
