The production value for this game is high, which I appreciate. I've just started yesterday and it's fun. The art is great, music is good and gameplay seems fine to me. The game seems to throw a lot of ressources at you, I already pulled a 6* char which seems great that early into the campaign. I can only hope we get such a game without all the Gacha/premium stuff for consoles someday.

There's generally no point taking push/pull specialists for maps that dont have pits. On some maps you can have them cover the square before your "base" to slow things down but I find there's nearly always a better choice than that.
I guess I'll just level up my Grani to use as a third Vanguard and use her instead of Shaw when the map doesn't call for a push/pull unit.
GT-5 started giving me trouble - Scavenger was dying super early, even a medic wasn't keeping her up ... realized she isn't even E1 yet. Whoops. Go to farm some chips and my autodeploy keeps erroring out. 🤬

Auto play is a recording of your keyclicks when you perfect a map, and replays that recording (of keyclicks, therefore rng crits/dodges can mess up a run) when you use autoplay.
dupes aren't required, but helpful. i f2p player will/should (banner time is sped up trying to catch up to CN server) to roll 1 to 10 times until "guarunteed 5/6 star within first ten rolls. Then you cry that you didn't get what you wanted then wait for the next banner.
During which you earn/make a lot (2-3/day) of free limited pool rolls that rng target (allowing you to aim for what you want, very very loosely resembling picking color orbs in FEH), and can sometimes very rarely win you a 5/6 star.
if you e1+ them, you can select the second skill and never activate it. for rope/cliffheart, that'd give oyu a 3 range melee that can be placed anywhere
I think you're better off not E1+'ing them to keep their DP cost down to fill their main role.
projeckt red, melanthia, skadi fill similar roles. drop them in on someone to kill them, then retreat. melanthia and skadi can also just be placed somewhere and stay there the whole round if you want. melanthia is more cost effecient, skadi is a super nuke of insane kill damage
plume -> vigna -> grani are all the same character, but with lower/higher stats/DP. low cost, gain 1 DP when they last hit something, and give a full refund of DP on retreat. place one at tstart of match, kill somethings to gain DP and clock things at start, then retreat and replace with your hard hitters/shielders
frostleaf -> silverash (but not really) are technically the same role, vanguard with wide range and can hit airborne. but silverash's three skills each allow him to change into a different role. skill 2 turns him into a tank, skill 1/3 more for offense. frostleaf is the same attack range squares, but it more about an aoe freeze/slow.
I use her sometimes behind Liskarm for some knockback action, they have a good synergy

Video is someone clearing the final stage of the event with E0 level 1 characters, and half are low rarity. Goes to show that there's a lot of flexibility in how you can complete stages, and that top rarity units are not required.
Ha, I'd the exact same issue with GT-6. Had to re-run it three times to get a reliable auto route saved.
Dutiful play will net you everything in the shop save maybe the furniture. If you plan on using Grani prioritizing her potential is a good idea but elite materials for any E1 you've been waiting to do can help you farm more efficiently.

Took me all 10 tries to get the guranteed 5*. But it was Warfarin (which I heard is pretty good?). Haven't spent any resources on her yet since I just started and wanted to get my main team ready for the event. Not looking at guides since I want to solve all the maps on my own.
Just cleared GT-5, which is great since I believe that's the main one to farm for the event, so I can auto-there while building my team in prep for GT-6. Quite happy with my progress for a less than 2 week old account.
I'll wait for a few more banners to see what other 5*s I get before using the pick ticket, but leaning towards Projeckt Red or Liskarm

Warfarin is great, her E2 turns her into a healing DPS buffer.
Saria probably, having a ground unit that can block and heal is very useful.

Would her + Hibiscus and Perfumer be good enough for healing needs for the forseeable future? I think it should, but Silence's drone seems like it would be really useful to prevent a vulnerable range unit from being picked off as well as letting me deploy more DPS on missions
I use Silence & Warfarin exclusively and I've had very little issues with healing for most maps. Silence's drone is basically a third healer by itself. If you need a third healer (eg for the supply missions) then you can always add e.g. Gavial.
Am I the only one here with the worst recruitment luck? Haven't even gotten the tags for ninja girl yet, let alone any 5 or 6* tags
I've gotten exactly one Top Operator tag on like the second day of playing when I didn't know that you had to run it for Max Length for it to stick so it fell off.

Monthly pass is recurring, pretty sure. (as in, you buy it one at a time and it doesn't automatically renew, but you can definitely keep renewing it)

I got my first combination today for a guaranteed 5* ( debuff /supporter for Pramanix) , put 9 hours on the timer and ... the damn game drop one of the tags to not give me the character lol
I'm more wondering if is it worth getting Silence with the 5* pick ticket vs getting Liskarm/Project Red/Pramanix, since from their skills, Warfarin is for when I need more DPS, while Silence is like a 2 man healing army. Basically do I need healer diversity vs squad diversity
That really depends on how the rest of your team looks like... Pick whatever you're lacking good units for. I use both Silence and Warfarin but there's other Healers that can fill that need (e.g. Sora could conceivably slot in for Warfarin too). Liskarm is great as a DPS-tank but there's alternatives for that too if you have them.
I have Silence/Warfarin as HealerHealer & DPS-Healer and Liskarm & Cuora as DPSTank & TankTank (And I guess Gummy as Healer Tank), but there's alternatives for those too if you have them.
See what you don;t have any redundancy for and pick that!
Just did a yolo single pull and surprisingly got Skadi. She's my second 6*, and my other 6* is a Guard as well: Silver Ash.
I already had Franka as my second main Guard. I didn't really need a Guard, I rarely use 2 Guards on a single map, but she's supposed to be great. Really happy with this luck!

Not me, just like I posted the above a few posts ago that I somehow recruited Saria in one shot. So, I will say it again: It was sheer of pure luck, lol.
Nabbed Vulcan with my first senior operator tag! That's 2 5* and 1 6* I've gotten from recruits.
