No, not yet.

I'm not pushing for it. While it's true that I'm immunocompromised, I work from home, and most of my time spent outside is from walking. I keep a considerable distance from others.

Soon. (To clarify, I absolutely want the vaccine; I just know too many folks who need it first.)

I got my first Moderna about 12 days ago.
Got the shot Tuesday morning and generally felt fine.
By Tuesday evening, I had some minor pain at the injection site.
By Wednesday evening, the pain was pretty significant - any touch/friction at the site, even just from a shirt, was very painful. I also generally felt achy all over.
By Thursday morning, the pain had started to decrease and I was fine by Thursday evening. No other symptoms aside from pain in my shoulder.

Just got back from getting my second Pfizer shot. With Nevada's increased eligibility range, the line was really long and filled with mostly 30-40 somethings. I heard a worker on the phone saying he was guessing about 6000 people just at that location today. Luckily I didn't have to wait in the entire line because they were picking out second dose people to go through faster.

My head already feels a little funny.

Got the 1st Moderna shot a few days ago. Outside of arm soreness, I've been fine.

Why does the second shot seem to make people feel more side effects? What's different than the first?
Not everyone has a more severe reaction to the second shot. But the reason some do is because these side effects are usually just your immune system reacting to the vaccine and learning how to recognize the "threat."

The first shot introduces your body to the threat. The second time around your body should already recognize it, so the immune response is stronger, and therefore the side effects can be worse.

I'll vaccinate ASAP but Oregon abides by the "select criteria" guidelines, which means I'll be waiting into may. Oregon has a small population to, so I dunno what the deal is.

My first shot (Moderna) next week! I'm super excited.

I got my first dose of Pfizer on the 6th so only a couple of more weeks until I'm fully vaccinated. It still feels surreal to finally be at this point.

Has anyone crossed state lines for a vaccination? I was talking to a guy today who did so and it sounds like a splendid idea.

Despite living in Nevada now, I still have my California ID and they didn't question it when I presented it for my first dose. Hell they didn't even ask to see it for my second dose today, lol.

Fiend of mine said his wife was vaccinated a month back and was tested positive for covid today. She had low energy and difficulty breathing. He doesn't have any symptoms. Crazy. I have no idea when I'm getting mine.

I'm in Florida, and my workplace has sent out an email saying that Florida Dept of Health has released guidelines stating that Military, Federal and Contractor Support for gov't are allowed to be vaccinated now. I only have the email, i can't find anything official online that says the same thing. I'm going to ask when I take my wife to get vaccinated on Monday.

Well, in a cruel twist of fate, it seems likely that I contracted COVID when I got my first Pfizer dose on the 2nd. It is literally the only place I have been outside of my apartment for the last month. Started feeling some minor symptoms a few days ago and got a positive rapid test result today. Going for a PCR test tomorrow just to be sure.

The idea that I could see my family and friends once vaccinated makes me want to delay vaccination as long as possible.

Of course, I could just get the vaccination and lie.

That's gotta suck, on Monday they have scheduled too many people for vaccine at my site..I'm going to wear a tight double mask for when I get my shot.

Could potentially be a false positive if the rapid test you took was an antigen screen since you've probably developed Abs by now. PCR test will tell you if you have actual virus. Good luck.

Side effects update. For reference, after my first Pfizer shot I had a sore arm for several days, but otherwise no ill effects.
Friday at 12:30 I got my second dose. No sore arm this time. Saturday afternoon my temperature was slightly elevated (98.9) but that went away quickly, & since then no effects that I've noticed.

I just got my first shit! CVS called me and told me be there in 15 minutes or don't bother.

Got there and first thing was some older woman upset that young people are getting the vaccine. I sit down and they ask my birthday, apparently I had the wrong birthday in the system. She told me I didn't look sixty.

Told me not to take tylenol or ibuprofen. Was in and out in under 6 minutes. No giant receipt.

Hoping to score one of the leftovers, hopefully a J&J. This'll be my first time getting a vaccine since I was maybe 5 or 6? I was raised after that as an antivaxxer thanks to my Trumper mom.

I am a bit nervous about getting it, admittedly, but am gonna go for it.

Why not take tylenol? I got high fever from my first shot (AZ), had to take 3 tylenols to feel better.

Apparently folks are going to CVS and saying they are obese to get the vaccine, CVS not checking anything, just taking peoples word for it

Basically, you want your body to respond to the vaccine, that's part of what builds the immunity. I've seen nothing specific to the COVID vaccines, but there has been evidence in the past that things like tylenol can lower the effectiveness of vaccines as it stops your body from reacting like it should. If you get really bad and need it, probably take it, but better not to if you can avoid it.

I've been feeling pretty fatigued and dizzy here a few days after my first Moderna shot. I wish I could just sleep for the rest of today
