N7 day has been a tradition for Mass Effect fans for a few years now. I don't think any single one have been particularly memorable, but there has been some nice ones. However, after the single greatest tragedy in videogame history called Andromeda, N7 day took a dark turn. And it became a melancholic day to remember what had been lost and all we got after that were videos from Bioware pretending the series wasn't dead and everything was fine.
And because of all that, I had given up hope. A week or so ago I wasn't expecting anything. But then EA, as villainy as ever, gave me hope. They said they are working on remaster of fan favorites, although what a fan favorite means for EA might be totally a different thing compared to the fan's definition itself.
So, do you think something might be announced tomorrow? A remaster of the trilogy or at least the first game? It doesn't even need to show anything or give a release date, simply confirm it would happen.
It's always been a 1/5 mystery to me why EA ignores the rich catalog of old, well loved games they have and re-release them like Sony did with God of War or Uncharted. It would definitely be profitableand certainly would make people restore some faith in EA and Bioware. That has to count for something surely.
Edit: I added a new option.
