I swear - in Germany you never see people in their pajamas shopping at the grocery or walking their dog in public.

In British English the word "shirt" by itself usually refers to something more formal, with a collar and buttons. You'd have to specify "t-shirt" to mean t-shirt.
Very.
I've seen plenty of that in the UK/Ireland, for what is worth.
look up people of walmart dot com
Germans may love their suits, but it's the only place on Earth where mullets, leather vests and dad jeans will never go out of fashion.

P.S. Does this apply to British people's? I'm confused whether they consider themselves to be EUropean or not
This is true. We were at a night club in St. Petersburg (RUS) a while ago and the amount of model caliber women with men wearing woolly shirts, training pants and sneakers was mind boggling. I figured our lack of success that night was due to us being over dressed :(It's also worth noting that there are some pretty acute gender divergences in terms of fashion the more you move towards Eastern Europe/the Baltics.
being american means being able to buy a gun at walmart while wearing whatever i want to
I don't know about Americans but Germans wear the dreaded convo of socks and sandals like there's no tomorrow and it's AWFUL.
That's not being stylish, that's just not being lazy.in Germany you never see people in their pajamas shopping at the grocery or walking their dog in public.
That's a pretty low bar for "stylish", to be fair. Germany isn't exactly oozing style otherwise (except for Berlin, which is like style on a weird strain of LSD).I swear - in Germany you never see people in their pajamas shopping at the grocery or walking their dog in public.

It's the fit that does it. I go to conferences in the US a few times a year, and while there are plenty of young Americans in well-fitted suits or combinations of suits and streetwear, almost every American over 30 wears straight-leg jeans and a jacket that looks like a tent.Every time I watch an American game show, all the guys are dressed like it's the 90s with their Ill fitted clothes.
The Slavic look + the slavic pose is unwinnable.
Compared to whom? A Japanese woman ask me, why European women rarely wear heels - with other words, we are pretty blunt compared to Japan.
Aye, African dandies are the new hotness.globally, europeans are about average in that regard
specifically, it is americans that lack style
