Master an ever-growing roster of diverse Legends, deep tactical squad play and bold new innovations that level up the Battle Royale experience—all within a rugged world where anything goes. - WHAT IS IT IN NON-PR SPEAK? -
Apex Legends is a squad based Battle Royale FPS developed by Respawn Entertainment. Set in the Titanfall universe, you and two other teammates work to be the last squad standing while utilizing character abilities that do not include Titans or wall-running.

- LEGENDS -
apex-legends-shooter-free-to-play-respawn-entertainment-titanfall-re3.jpg

Bangalore - Professional Soldier
Born into a military family where she, her parents, and her four older brothers all served in the IMC Armed Forces, Bangalore has been an exceptional soldier since she was young. She was top of her class at the IMC Military Academy and the only cadet who could take apart a Peacekeeper, equip it with a Precision Choke hop-up, and put it back together in under twenty seconds – blindfolded.

Tactical Ability: Smoke Launcher - Fire a high-velocity smoke canister that explodes into a smoke wall on impact.
Passive Ability: Double Time - Taking fire while sprinting makes you move faster for a brief time.
Ultimate Ability: Rolling Thunder - Call in an artillery strike that slowly creeps across the landscape.

Bloodhound - Technological Tracker
Bloodhound is known across the Outlands as one of the greatest game hunters the Frontier has ever seen – and that's about all anyone knows. Their identity is a mystery wrapped in layers of rumors: they are fabulously wealthy, a bloodthirsty murderer, a Goliath whisperer, a former slave, half bat, and a dozen other things depending on who's doing the whispering.

Tactical Ability: Eye of the Allfather - Briefly reveal hidden enemies, traps, and clues throughout structures in front of you.
Passive Ability: Tracker - See tracks left behind by your foes.
Ultimate Ability: Beast of the Hunt - Enhances your senses, allowing you move faster and highlighting your prey.

Caustic - Toxic Trapper
Before there was Caustic, a scientist named Alexander Nox worked at Humbert Labs, the Frontier's leading manufacturer of pesticide gases. With a glut of pesticides needed to protect the growing Frontier colonies' crops, Humbert Labs was constantly on the hunt for better and stronger formulas. Nox was one of their brightest scientists and worked day and night developing new gases. But to make sure they worked, he needed to test them on more than just inert tissue: he needed something living.

Tactical Ability: Nox Gas Trap - Drop canisters that release deadly Nox gas when shot or triggered by enemies.
Passive Ability: Nox Vision - Allows you to see enemies through your gas.
Ultimate Ability: Not Gas Grenade - Blankets a large area in Nox Gas.

Gibraltar - Shielded Fortress
Gibraltar is a gentle giant with a wild side. The son of two SARAS (Search and Rescue Association of Solace) volunteers, he has always been skilled at getting others out of dangerous situations that are common in the Outlands. However, he only began to understand the value of protecting others when he and his boyfriend stole his father's motorcycle, took it on a joyride, and got trapped by a deadly mudslide. His parents saved them, and his father lost an arm in the process. Gibraltar has never forgotten that sacrifice and has devoted his life to helping those in need.

Tactical Ability: Dome of Protection - Throw down a dome-shield that blocks attacks for 15 seconds.
Passive Ability: Gun Shield - Aiming down sights deploys a gun shield that blocks incoming fire.
Ultimate Ability: Defensive Bombardment - Call in a concentrated mortar strike on a marked position.

Lifeline - Combat Medic
Ajay Che, aka Lifeline, isn't someone you would expect to find in the Apex Games. Once the child of wealthy war profiteers, she left home when she learned of the damage her family had caused and enlisted in the Frontier Corps, a humanitarian organization that aids Frontier communities in need. She's since devoted her life to helping others and joined the Apex Games to fund the Frontier Corps with her winnings.

Tactical Ability: D.O.C. Heal Drone - Call your Drone of Compassion to automatically heal nearby teammates over time.
Passive Ability: Combat Medic - Revive knocked down teammates faster while protected by a shield wall. Healing items are used 25% faster.
Ultimate Ability: Care Package - Call in a drop pod full of high-quality defensive gear.

Mirage - Holographic Trickster
Mirage is the kind of guy who likes to stand out. The youngest of four brothers, he perfected the art of fooling around to get attention. The one thing he took seriously was Holo-Pilot technology: introduced to the illusion-creating tech by his engineer mother, he poured over the mechanisms and learned all he could about them. Even when his brothers went MIA during the Frontier War, Mirage and his mother continued to develop holo devices, and the work brought them closer.

Tactical Ability: Psyche Out - Send out a holographic decoy to confuse the enemy.
Passive Ability: Encore! - Automatically drop a decoy and cloak for five seconds when knocked down.
Ultimate Ability: Vanishing Act - Deploy a team of Decoys to distract enemies while you cloak.

Pathfinder - Forward Scout
Pathfinder is the picture of optimism, despite his circumstances. A MRVN (Mobile Robotic Versatile eNtity) modified to specialize in location scouting and surveying, he booted up decades ago in an abandoned laboratory with no idea who created him or why. With only his MRVN designation to hint at his identity, Pathfinder set off in search of his creator.

Tactical Ability: Grappling Hook - Grapple to get to out-of-reach places quickly.
Passive Ability: Insider Knowledge - Scan a survey beacon to reveal the ring's next location.
Ultimate Ability: Zipline Gun - Create a zipline for everyone to use.

Wraith - Interdimensional Skirmisher
Wraith is a whirlwind fighter, able to execute swift and deadly attacks and manipulate spacetime by opening rifts in the fabric of reality — but she has no idea how she got that way. Years ago, she woke up in an IMC Detention Facility for the Mentally Ill with no memory of her life before. She also began hearing a distant voice whispering in her mind that would keep her awake for days on end. Despite nearly driving her insane, once she started to listen and trust it, the voice helped her harness her newfound power of void manipulation and escape the facility.

Tactical Ability: Into the Void - Reposition quickly through the safety of void space, avoiding all damage.
Passive Ability: Voices from the Void - A voice warns you when danger approaches. As far as you can tell, it's on your side.
Ultimate Ability: Dimensional Rift - Link two locations with portals for 60 seconds, allowing your entire team to use them.

NEW LEGEND JOINS THE BATTLE (3/19/2019)
Octane - The Adrenaline Junkie
new-apex-legends-octane-gameplay-8211-ign-com-1024x576.jpg

One day, Octavio Silva was bored. In fact, he was bored most days. Heir to the preoccupied CEOs of Silva Pharmaceuticals and wanting for nothing in life, he entertained himself by performing death-defying stunts and posting holovids of them for his fans to gawk over. So, this day, he decided to set the course record for a nearby Gauntlet by launching himself across the finish line – using a grenade. As he lay in triage hours later, the doctors informed him that the damage done to his legs meant his daredevil days were over. That didn't sit well with Octavio, who turned to an old friend for help: Ajay Che, who he guilted into forging an order to replace his legs with bionic ones. Suddenly able to repair his limbs at a moment's notice, Octavio decided petty online stunts weren't enough: the ultimate adrenaline rush, the Apex Games, was calling. Now, he's going to become an Apex Champion doing the most incredible, death-defying moves anyone's ever seen. Maybe in the arena, he won't be so bored.

Tactical Ability: Stim - Move 30% faster for six seconds. Costs health to use.
Passive Ability: Swift Mend - Automatically restores health over time.
Ultimate Ability: Launch Pad - Deploy a jump pad that catapults teammates through the air.

- FAQ FROM RESPAWN -
Where can I download Apex Legends?
Apex Legends can be found at the following stores:
Do I need Xbox Live Gold to play Apex Legends?
Yes, you need an Xbox Live Gold account to play Apex Legends on Xbox One.

Do I need PlayStation® Plus to play Apex Legends?
No, you do not need PlayStation® Plus to play Apex Legends on PlayStation® 4.
Can I play with a controller on PC?
Yes, Apex Legends officially supports the Xbox One and PlayStation® 4 controllers on PC.

2. Gameplay
What do I get when I increase my Player Level? What is the maximum Player Level?

Players can increase their Player Level by earning XP from playing matches. Each time a player levels up, they will earn rewards like an Apex Pack, Legend Tokens, or both.
Player Level caps at 100. After reaching Level 100, players can earn additional Legend Tokens by gaining enough XP during matches.

How are characters balanced? Will characters get nerfed and buffed regularly?
We strive to keep our characters as balanced as possible across a variety of factors. We look at metrics such as win rate, pick rate, winning squad composition, average kills per game, etc. across skill tiers. Our goal is to make sure each character offers a different strategic playstyle, not a more powerful playstyle. We will regularly adjust character balance in pursuit of healthy game balance.

How do I earn a character?
You can unlock new characters in the store by collecting 12,000 Legend Tokens. Earn Legend Tokens by playing standard matches.

How are you handling cheaters?
We take cheating very seriously, employ a variety of methods to prevent it, and will take action on EA Accounts that violate the User Agreement. Apex Legends utilizes Easy Anti-Cheat from Kamu (an industry-leading anti-cheat service) on PC, and the built-in anti-cheat features available on Xbox One and PlayStation® 4.

Our goal is to make Apex Legends fun and fair for all our players. If you think you have discovered someone cheating please visit this EA Help article to learn more about reporting.

Will you be adding more maps?
Our focus is on the Kings Canyon map for now, but we may introduce new maps in the future.

Does Apex Legends support cross-platform play?
We currently don't support cross-platform play, but are always working on new features and improvements we can add to our game.

3. Apex Packs
What are Apex Packs?

Apex Packs are packs of cosmetic items or crafting currency available in Apex Legends. They will never include any items that offer a gameplay advantage (there is no way to purchase a gameplay advantage in Apex Legends through any mechanic).

Can I earn Apex Packs?
Yes, Apex Packs are often given as rewards for reaching a new Player Level. You can earn a total of 45 Apex Packs from Player Levels 1 – 100.

What are the drop rates for items of a specific rarity in an Apex Pack?
Probability of at least one:
  • Rare or better item: 100%
  • Epic or better item: 24.8%
  • Legendary item: 7.4%
How is probability for Apex Pack drop rates calculated?
Apex Pack probabilities are calculated by simulating the opening of a large number of Apex Packs. We will re-run this process for any update where the rarity drop rates change and update our players accordingly.
Will Apex Packs contain duplicate cosmetics?
No. Cosmetic items you already own are not eligible drops when an Apex Pack is opened, so you'll never receive duplicates of cosmetics you already own. Crafting Metals may always drop within a given rarity tier, regardless of how many you own. If you own all of the items of a given rarity tier, you'll receive Crafting Metals of that rarity instead.

Will Apex Packs have bad luck protection?
Yes! Bad luck protection is available for Legendary items in all Apex Packs. Bad luck protection means that a player cannot open more than 30 Apex Packs without receiving a Legendary item.

How does the Bonus Heirloom set work?
Apex Legends currently has one bonus Heirloom Set available, which contains three items for Wraith. When a player opens an Apex Pack, there is a <1% probability of an Heirloom Set dropping. Heirloom Set drops do not deduct an Apex Pack from your inventory. Heirloom Sets cannot be crafted with Crafting Metals. A player cannot open more than 500 Apex Packs without receiving an Heirloom set (assuming the player does not own all of the available Heirloom Sets). Once a player owns all of the Heirloom Sets, the player will not be eligible for this bonus until more Heirloom Sets are added to the game.

4. Battle Pass
What is the Battle Pass?

The Battle Pass is a seasonal system that rewards players with exclusive cosmetic items. These rewards are a mix of exclusive seasonal cosmetics and Apex Packs. Every player can unlock some of these items each season through normal play; those who choose to purchase the Battle Pass can earn everything available that season, around 100 different rewards.

Do I keep everything I've earned with Battle Pass once the Season ends?
Yes, everything you earn with the Battle Pass is yours to keep, even after the Season is over.
Do I get Legends by purchasing a Battle Pass?
No, Legends will not be included in the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass gives players exclusive cosmetic items and Apex Packs.

How long are Seasons?
Each season will run for approximately three months.

4. In-Game Currency and Shops
Can players spend money in Apex Legends to receive a gameplay advantage?

No. In Apex Legends, we don't sell any items that offer a gameplay advantage. When you enter the Ring, no player will have an advantage based on how much they have spent. Apex is supported primarily by cosmetics and new characters (which can also be earned).

What are Apex Coins?
Apex Coins are a premium in-game currency which can be used to purchase Apex Packs, items in the Rotating Shop, and new Legends.

What are Legend Tokens?
Legend Tokens are currency earned by increasing your Player Level. Legend Tokens can be earned even after reaching max Player Level by earning enough match XP.

What are Crafting Metals?
Crafting Metals are dropped in Apex Packs and can be used to craft specific cosmetic items such as Legend skins, weapon skins, and more.

What is the Rotating Shop?
The Rotating Shop is an in-game destination where you can purchase individual cosmetics and characters. Each item slot in the shop rotates every seven days. There are two sections in the Rotating Shop: Featured and Shop Exclusives.
  1. The "Featured" section includes a curated selection of items. These items, normally only available as Apex Pack drops or unlockable with Crafting Metals, are available for direct purchase with Apex Coins for a limited period of time.
  2. The "Shop Exclusives" section contains exclusive Legendary Recolors that are available for purchase only with Legend Tokens. These items are not available as drops in the core Apex Pack and require ownership of the related prerequisite Legendary item before a purchase can be made.
Neither section of the Rotating Shop will feature Battle Pass items.

How do Legendary Recolors work?
Legendary Recolors are available in exchange for Legend Tokens through the Rotating Shop. Each item slot will rotate every seven days. You must own the prerequisite Legendary cosmetic before purchasing the recolor. The prerequisite Legendary cosmetic will always be available in the shop's Featured section while the exclusive Legendary Recolor is available. The prerequisite Legendary cosmetic can also be acquired as an Apex Pack drop or a Crafting Metal unlock.

Can I get the exact cosmetic item I want?
Yes! Save up enough Crafting Metal currency to unlock the item directly in the Legends or Armory tabs. Alternatively, cosmetic items from the core Apex Pack periodically appear in the Rotating Shop for direct purchase with Apex Coins.

What payment methods do you accept?
You can make purchases through the Xbox Store or PlayStation® Store using any accepted payment method you've used in the past. Making purchases in Origin varies based on your location and currency. For more information about approved payment methods for Origin, check out the "What Payment Methods Can I Use on Origin?" section of the Buying on Origin: Orders and Payment Information article.

So, been playing both as Fuse, and against him, I don't think I'll play it much as I'm not too interested into his abilities, but I have to admit, being cornered within his circle of fire can be quite stressing, even as an Octane having the ability to jump over it.

Well played, he's going to be a pita for the final circle haha. But I like him, cool addition overall.

Used the 30-30, it's interesting, but I feel like I would have made much damage with the G7 or a Longbow, so not so sure where this weapon fits overall. Not sure it'll be part of my loadout.

Edit: Does his ultimate do friendly damage? I had the feeling I could go around the fire of the Fuse in my team without having any effect.

As bugs go i like that one, just load up and jump in..

Regarding the first part, did you start queuing for trios, cancel, then select firing range? Because that's been an issue for a while now, where it will keep your original selection if you queue, cancel, then queue a new mode.

Underwhelming season. Feels like another stopgap season like Season 7 tbh.

idk, I think Warzone has spoiled the solo/bad teammate BR experience for me. Apex is a million times better don't get me wrong, but actually having a gun off drop and a gulag system that somewhat prevents you from having bad-RNG-induced wipes is something I can't do without in a BR. Especially, as I said, with no mic/skills randoms.

Hopefully the arena mode that comes out mostly next season will keep me at apex, because everything that ISNT the BR experience is top tier.

I played a few matches before going over to my bf's place for dinner and saw zero 3030s lol. I hope it's not hard to find. Even with the volt's intense popularity from the start, it was easy to find around the map. Energy ammo though...

Do we know what's happening post KC? Is it gonna be Olympus or World's Edge?

Just finished my first play session of Season 8.

Quick thoughts:

Fuse seems like he has potential.
I didn't play as him any, but his ultimate is quite potent to run through as an enemy squad. Squadmate Fuse's ultimates don't do friendly fire damage, but they DO stun squadmates. His presence can be pretty disorienting honestly, as close proximity cluster bombs can really throw off audio cues for players trying to zero in others via sound.

In one game, I was stuck by an arc star sitting on the edge of the one watchtower overlooking Containment. It had to have been another Fuse, and I have absolutely zero idea where it came from but they stuck me quite effortlessly it felt like.

The 30-30 seems firmly OK.
I haven't used this enough yet, but it seems like a good gun to use as a fight "opener" and assist/clean-up kill machine. It can do some very fast burst damage to open an engagement up from mid-range (esp if you land the charged headshot), but once you're in the thick it definitely seems a bit on the weaker end and you'll probably much rather be holding just about any other heavy gun. Its bullets feel like they shoot a bit faster bullet travel velocity-wise than the G7, which feels like it'll separate it a bit from the Scout at distance.

I definitely feel like it's a gun that sits very firmly in its specific engagement "niche" akin to the Sentinel. Less overall utility than the Volt or even the Havoc it feels like.

I honestly don't know if I'll want to hold it over a Hemlok or Flatline though, but it's nice that it doesn't require a barrel stabilizer in order to get the most out of it like the Hemlok.

The subtle buffs to Spitfire seems to put it back closer to its OP status like it was really early on.
This is something else I haven't had the chance to play enough with, but I used it a bit and was somewhat shocked at how good it felt to shoot again. It seemed to fire fast and the recoil seemed a bit tighter too. With how fast it fires and how hard it seems to hit, I kind of suspect the Spitfire to creep into the meta. But it may also continue flying under the radar a bit by the playerbase, so I suggest people try to give it a shot right now.

Thanks for OT3 Delphine !

Only been able to get a couple matches in today, one as Fuse. Really liked him, though we ended up wiping after two engagements. His Ult seems to recharge quickly.

Haven't gotten a 30-30 yet, nor have I had time in the range, looking forward to putting it through its paces.

Some interesting minor changes I've come across on KC, like the buildings in the open area outside of Containment being replaced with newer ones.

Forgot how miserable ranked is at the start of a season. 1 whole good game where the squad plays as a squad instead of rushing teams solo or dropping us in an area with 2 mozambiques that the 2 other squads manage to loot before us lol

Even with the extra space KC still feels too crowded and 3rd-partying is still incredible.

fuuuuuck it's KC for 2 weeks in unranked, too. Can't get away from it's stink.

What's the logic behind starting me out in Gold 3 after finishing Diamond 3?? These games are miserable...get into 2-3 team fights and teammates end with 50-70 damage?? 🥴

The matchmaking in ranked stinks fucking hard right now. I've played 4 matches and the same guy has been in each squad, dude who walks around looking at things for 2 seconds before he picks them up, takes 14 seconds to turn round into a firefight and gets downed

On rank splits (new battle pass season & season midpoints), they drop everyone back a full division and a half from where they finished prior to the split. That's why you fell to Gold. And in theory, other Golds today would have been Diamond players at the end of last season. Those who finished in Gold last season would wind up back in Bronze today.

It's annoying, but they want to keep "player engagement high" and it assuredly works. At least for people who actually play ranked really seriously/the ladder climbers at the top end (Diamond+)

But yeah, ranked is kind of a nightmare the first week or so of any split as the odds of matchmaking not working well are extremely high.

And how this game's skill based matchmaking works, if you are relatively "high skilled" as an individual/duo (you win individual gunfights frequently, have higher damage and kill count games), it absolutely 100% goes out of its way to fill your squad with people well below your ability/play speed. I'd hope that ranked would be a bit better about that kind of thing, but I really doubt it.

Man that Real Steel Fuse skin is legit, too bad it's locked behind a bundle.

Also, shooting grenades from your wrist is super satisfying.

absolutely smashed a ranked win as a duo with octane. The new jump-pad mechanics really rock. Rescued my man's banner after a partially completed ambush on 3 squads with a rotation from farm to cage that resulted in 2 squads taken out, one hilariously finished with a stuck Arc star that killed the last 2 guys. Got caught by another squad trying to get out, jumped over with a pad and landed a mastiff shot that downed that squad's gibby, which bought me time to gtfo.

Ran and padded half-way across the map to Water Treatment through 3 firefights to res my man at the other edge of the ring. Broke open a vault, got him looted up and positioned in the bigger building on the river, where the ring was closing.

Stayed silent, last 2 squads start fighting, one of them decides to come into the building for cover and immediately I get a full spray of gold mag R99 on 2 of them, followed with mastiff hits, them more r99 on the last guy. Squad wiped. Last squad tries to box us in with their caustic dropping barrels all around us, finally tossing his ult into the building, landing it into an empty corner lol. 2 nades come in, both miss. Caustic tries to breach within his gas, but I've got the threat optics on both guns and just rinse him down. Meanwhile the one guy is trying to tag us through a window and the 3rd breaches the other door, only to get cracked by my partner and his volt. I stim through the other door, drop a whole r99 mag into the window shopper, slap with a mastiff shot to down, leading to an flank on the last guy as he scrambles with no shields and a madman with a spitfire chasing him.

for every 15 shit solo queue games you get 1 proper gem. Gold mags are really something with that auto-reload.

I love Fuse's ult, have already gotten some easy squad wipes with it. Need to figure out the best use for his tactical though. Have mainly used it to knock down doors so far.

So I can't seem to buy the Battle Pass - it says "Unavailable" next to the price of 950 coins. If I try to buy it says "server error." I wonder if it will fix itself? I tried restarting etc.

Seriously bummer matches all night. I feel like this happens every season opener for me and I'm not sure why lol. I feel like I want to see the new stuff and get a feel for the new weapon meta but I just get annihilated and/or have teammates bail.

I love Fuse's ult, have already gotten some easy squad wipes with it. Need to figure out the best use for his tactical though. Have mainly used it to knock down doors so far.
My only wins today have been with him, haha. Felt good to spring the ult in the middle of a fight and, combined with the tactical, kill two people simultaneously.

Also, a bit of (potential) good news about a forthcoming collection event:
It seems like next week will have a collection event for the second anniversary, and it'll feature new versions of existing legendary skins from previous BPs/CEs for the legends up to Loba (who continues to get shafted in the skin department, lol). Shrugtal, a prominent dataminer in the community, tweeted out that you'll be able to earn two Collection Event Packs just through completing challenges. Josh Medina, a producer who works on the game, cheekily responded with this:

I feel like that's enough of a tacit admission of it being a thing, but I guess we'll see by next week whether that's actually true or not, lol.

Me too. I actually was just thinking that it'd be really nice if they started giving out 2 collection event packs again like they did originally.

I have Lifeline's "Judge, Jury, Executioner" as a result, but never got anything else from any of the other events.

So yeah, pretty cool if true.

Last night some poor soul got tricked by the new gold clips mechanic, rocking R-99 and R-301, both guns have gold clip, I down his partner and he tried to rush me thinking i wouldn't be able to reload in time, poor dude..

I played Octane a bit, that launchpad change is surprisingly potent. It's super fun and you can go really damn far with the slide now.

I like how the gold reload works just in time to pop a battery.

Not really feeling anything in the battle pass this season. I guess I'll see how it goes and if it's looking like I'll hit max rank, maybe pick it up later in the season.

like how you can now see how much ammo a team mate has if they ping for ammo
makes it a lot easier to have a fair distribution of ammo among the team

Respawn posted a retrospective for the anniversary, along with another hint at the future of Apex:

The game continues to grow. Next month, we'll launch on Nintendo Switch. Work on a mobile version of Apex Legends is well underway. And later this year, we'll launch new ways to play the game that take us beyond battle royale.

A few things about Apex from the EA earnings call:

We are at the two-year anniversary of the launch of Apex Legends, and with 30% growth in new players year-over-year, it's success is accelerating.
Competitive play in Apex Legends is also reaching and entertaining more viewers, with recent events in November driving new viewership and watch-time records.
... we will launch on the Nintendo Switch on March 9; and we will expand further with our Apex Mobile game rolling out in FY22.

Blake Jorgensen -- Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

So on Apex, clearly, as you said, Japan is the second-largest market for Apex, which is very exciting for us. And we know that it's one of the largest markets for the Nintendo Switch.

And that's the reason we decided to put it out on Nintendo Switch. But we also know that Nintendo Switch is a global business, not just a Japanese business. We think the combination of Nintendo Switch, Apex plus mobile Apex will be very powerful. We believe mobile Apex will be in soft launch sometime in the next three to four months and hopefully gets into the marketplace quickly.

We delivered net bookings well above our expectations this quarter. The beat was driven by our live services, led by outperformance in Ultimate Team and Apex Legends.
The Sims 4 is on track for its sixth consecutive year of growth, and Apex Legends for its second, at the beginning of what we hope will be a similarly long run for this title. I'd reiterate and amplify here that we expect Apex to deliver well over $500 million in net bookings this year, compared to our original expectation of $300M to $400M.
The team has focused on having more fun in the craft of building and experimenting with new modes and ways to explore the Apex universe and characters. This has been paying off, with a compound average growth rate of about 14% per Season, as measured from Season 2. That's equivalent to an annual CAGR of about 65%.
We are raising our net bookings expectation for the year to be $6.075 billion, up $125 million from our prior guidance. This is driven by continued strength in our live services, particularly FIFA and Apex Legends. It is $525 million above our expectations at the start of the year
