I got a friend in Plat 1 that wants to make a push to diamond tonight.
no, ranked has locked off :( i'm honestly a little bit peeved. met two players in ranked last night and we were dominating, helped pull me up through to high plat 2. we were planning on playing together tonight to get to diamond. god damnit 😭
you can still play ranked lobbies but your rank is locked in place, you can't earn or lose
kinda shitty to do this a day before the season actually ends, does anyone know if they did this last season?
That gun with the white skin and different iron sights is a R-99 apparently, confirmed by a dev. It sounds different and seems to shoot slower, so that probably means it got nerfed, again. If they did in fact butcher my favorite gun while adding another sniper to this open map, I have no words...
Saw a video breakdown saying the volt is in the trailer. Shows the iron sight view of it as well. So many skins revealed when pointed out thats easy to overlook. Just saw post above so maybe the video was wrong. I feel a lot of stuff is in the game files that's not revealed. Either they are going to do a mid season content drop or just have a ton of surprises.

Not sure how I feel about weapon racks tbh. Part of the fun is seeing how you do with the weapons you happen to find. It's only in one part of the map so it shouldn't be a problem. Though I wonder how many folks are gonna immediately drop there every match.
Seems like a bad choice if armor isn't around though. I took it as an automatic gun spot with not a lot of other reward items to loot.
Dammit, they changed two of my favorite drop zones. While I hate dropping Capitol, the park into underpass usually got me 6 supply crates uncontested. Fuel Depot had long lines of sight and at most three but usually one enemy team to start the match. Oh well. Bring on Season 4.
These rapid fire cheaters are really getting annoying and frequent now. Get shot twice and die, check the damage report and hit 9 times in one burst by a Hemlok. Sure, ok, whatever, next game. Also I don't understand the mechanic of Gibby's ADS shield being used rapidly again and again, if it gets shot/broken it should have a cool down of 15-20 seconds at least.

Weapon's racks seem silly to me. If folks want to drop somewhere just to get a guaranteed gun then I think the game has a bigger issue.
The Volt was not in the trailer. You'd know it if you saw it. It shoots a blue laser like the Havoc and Devotion.
glad the city is being changed, I liked it but lord help me, as a solo player, most of my matches recently have been landing there and having an awful time
Yeah if you solo into a pub match and aren't jump master, you are landing (and dying) in the city 90% of the time.

Haha, yeah I'm definitely entering "hopefully there's a legendary I don't already have!" territory when it comes to battle passes. If there's ever a Gibraltar one I'll die...I'm up to 4 just from the new free packs. Legitimately cursed.
Needed an R-99, so happy about that one. Looks nice. Happy with the Flatline from the Lifeline edition.
Same! I'm starting to have Legendary skins for almost all the guns in my main rotation, so I'm satisfied. I truly only need one for the Eva-8 and I'll be ok. But yeah, I much prefer the Lifeline edition Legendary Flatline skin as well.
I also recently bought a R99 skin because I lacked one for it for the longest of times, and now they're finally delivering one for it, joke's on me! But it's ok, I think I'll still like mine a bit more, but will probably happily switch between the two of them depending on the mood.
In the meantime, I'm lacking Legendary skins for Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Bangalore & Crypto, hope they'll be coming at some point. Especially for Gibraltar and Bangalore that I'm more likely to play than the rest.
Also, I need to say it, but that Wraith skin from the battle pass is quite disappointing. I'm not vibing with it. That Wattson skin is fun and I can see myself using it from time to time. The Lifeline skin is absolutely forgettable (and I have 4 Legendary skins to chose for her anyway), the Crypto skin however is a welcomed option.
Earn 3 legend skins upon unlocking the BP along with the R-99? They then mention you unlock Lifeline and Crypto's later, so we are getting the Wraith (letdown) and what other two? I dunno why we can't just get a Wraith skin with her face and head visible.
Honestly yeah, all of her skins are so goddamn try-hard it's exhausting. I like Protector of the Void, and tolerate Night Terror, but that's about it, I'd throw all the others in the trash (well ok, maybe not Airship Assassin though, it's decent enough even thoush she has a mask).
I have the halloween flatline combined with the pumpkin charm which I like a lot, and the R99 from the iron crown event, but those skins are pretty nice. The Wattson skin is easily my favorite of hers.

A friend a mine who mains Wraith has Airship Assassin, and whenever I play with him, I switch my Lifeline skin to Judge Jury Executioner, because let me tell you, the both of those skins make us look pretty damn rad together, they get very well together.

There are skins I missed on the shop, and it feels like they'll never ever come back and it makes me sad. Heck, even ones from past events, feels like they're gone forever and I'd really love to get my hands on them now. There's two Lifeline skins that I'm looking for, Pain Killer which was from Legendary Hunt event ages ago, and First Responder (variant of Organized Anarchy), and I'm sad I can't get my hands on them.

The recolors especially still bug me. Like that Mirage one up now is really good, but needing the yellow one specifically seems so silly when the two legendaries are reskins of the same thing.

I started last season by opening 30 packs and crafting a new legendary. I was planning on crafting a Wattson skin tomorrow but the one in the Season Pass is sweet.
3 games in a row where I've started with only one other player. How the fuck have they not sorted this issue yet? Absolutely awful. I feel like 50% of all my games as a random start as only a 2 man squad.

So I can gain progress on the battle pass even if I haven't bought it yet?

You progress through it either way. You're paying for the premium unlocks it provides. XP boosts are part of those premium unlocks so it's faster if you buy it up front.
Ravaged WE looks great. Revenant looks fun. New skins are actually tempting me to graduate from "freeloader" status.

It will probably be balanced by there being not much other loot in that area. The dev post seems like they are experimenting with it to gather data about how it affects where players drop and so can change/tweak it if they feel the need.
I think this will be the first season where I don't buy the pass. I find the game so much more enjoyable when I'm not twisting my playstyle to meet the needs of daily/weekly challenges. Plus I'm not really feeling any of the skins in there and I already have a decent legendary for my r99 🤷♂️
