I feel like a video for The Game Awards makes sense, it would be a couple weeks after Hyrule Warriors releases and it would be the perfect timing.

I was kind of dumbfounded at people expecting this this year. 2021 at the earliest was always what felt reasonable. I think it'll probably be spring 2022.

I didn't want to rain on the parade of people excited for this new announcement in the main thread, but I just see a game made almost entirely out of old assets that Nintendo will charge $60 for to fill the fall/winter slot. I think I am still annoyed at their Mario 3D All Stars laziness/pricing and this doesn't help.
