I was wondering if anyone was going to buy both next gen consoles? I always buy them both. I am still undecided between the xbox series S and the X tho. But I think I will go with the X because of the disc drive. I like to sell my games if i finish them

Yup. XSX day one. PS5 either during a "Pro" release or a bundle release after some exclusives drop.

Yep. Buying a DE PS5 and getting an Xbox Series S on all access. Will be selling my XB1S to put towards a PS5.

I plan to buy PS5 close to launch. I´m still not convinced with Series X already having an One X, mainly due to the lack of exclusive games until 2021 or 2022.

Series S depends on if Microsoft eventually bring out any exclusive I'm interested in or might just stick to GamePass + PC combo.

I wasn't going to get an X as I have a decent PC but the all access thing for me is such an easy sell I will get one just for the console gamepass basically.

I'll be buying a PS5 outright day 1 too - not sure which version though

I tipically buy both MS and Sony consoles at the start of every gen. But I'm going with PS5 only this time around. If I was getting a Xbox, it be the Series X.

Eventually, but I'm going Series X at launch.

A stark contrast from this past gen. Bought a PS4 at launch, got an Xbox One for Halo 5's release... Sold it a year and a half later to put the money towards a Switch, lol.

Only getting a PS5 at launch, but I'll probably pick up the SS in a couple of years when there are exclusives I want.

I'm for sure getting a PS5 at launch (or at least will attempt to).

I'm kinda tempted to go for Xbox All Access at some point next year now though. The value just seems too good to ignore at this point.

I think I'll probably grab both eventually. But I'll grab the second of the two systems very late in the gen most likely.

Yeah. Might get a Series S if Halo Infinite turns out to be good, though. Might also wait for the One X version of the Series X.

Not at launch. Money is tight with me. But by the fall of next year, I will have if I can buy both. Only want to spend on the PS5 right now because I already saved money for that system. The pandemic is very unpredictable and I want to minimize spending for the now.

X and PS5 for sure. Hoping trading in both the 1X and Pro will pay for one of them.

Probably gonna get an S for upstairs when I can inevitably snag one for $100 off used on amazon or whatever.

3070 at Christmas I hope. Dell 1440p/165hz monitor soon after.

oooof. This is gonna be an expensive time.

I'm likely buying a Series S in late 2021/early 2022. It'll be about whether or not those new first party studios make bangers, and how games are actually running on the Series S 2 years from now.

I'll have a PS5 so I'll be interested to see the power differential and what that means for someone on a 4KTV in practice, a little bit further down the line as games get better looking/more complex.

Series S seems like the play right now for someone who is also getting a PS5 at/near launch.

As it stands I'm likely to get an Xbox first and PS5 later down the line when it has a good amount of exclusives to go through. PS5 still has to reveal price and more so who knows what'll happen, though.
