Made in AByss End

It was like watching a dream the slowly became a nightmare

Land of the Lustrous End

Diamond is very breakable.

I watched both on the old blue ray and i have to say both were bloody good looking shows.

Got the first two batches of Christmas sale stuff in
image0.jpg

(Giant Robo and GinRei is just a discount but figured if I'm building a mecha collection have to have the former and the latter was. Heap. Got pretty good deals overall too). Just waiting on 2 final backorder items that will hopefully ship in the next week or so. I'll do a full picture of my little collection. Just wanted a fun mix for a shelf on a bookshelf work and stuff that's all over the place streaming wise anyways. Unless I find a really good deal or something I really want probably won't buy anymore for a while

Nanatsu no Taizai S4 EP1
After the disaster that was season 3 I have to be honest and say that they improved a lot. Art looked at least good. Not much more animation in there, but what was there looked fine.

Only thing I am really noticing now is the shit pacing and it will only get worse from here.

Kaifuku Jutsushi EP1
I took the bullet because I read the first 6 or so chapters back then to compare how they would do the anime. There is still a lot of shit in it, but to my surprise they've cut a lot of scenes from the begining of the whole thing and what could someone make feel a little bit sympathic for him before he starts his whole revenge shit plot.

Watched all of Hunter X Hunter over the past few months. I had read the manga way back when through the middle of the Chimera Ant Arc but pretty much forgot all the details.
Awesome shonen, sad I'm caught up and its been on indefinite hiatus. At least there's like 50 chapters to read if I want to keep going a bit further.

Heaven's Animals 01

I feel like with this stacked season, this one's going under the radar :/ I love animal series, and this idea is great! An office worker team in heaven designing animals and prototyping them to see if they would work on earth? My kinda show right here! Looks like some characters specialize in designs, like birds or cute animals. Still, it's fun so far!

Wonder Egg Priority episode 1

That's some fucked up shit right there. This show reminds me of Serial Experiments Lain. Extremely introverted stotic lead, lots of strange shit going on around her. I wonder if it's some kind of spiritual sucessor to Lain.

Digimon Adventure 20th Anniversary Memorial Stories OVA 1-5 END

I'm sooooo glad someone (unofficially) picked these up to do, and they are SO much better than Tri/Kizuna! Super cute and fun, and way more Adventure-like. These pretty much prelude to the events in Kizuna

01 - A Sora episode, as she gets WAY more air time than on Kizuna here. Her and Mimi discuss their futures.

02 - Agumon and Gabumon discuss how their partners are growing up (and Taichi has those videos that Agumon can't see, so re-affirming from Kizuna that yes, Taichi is an adult and watches porn). I like how when they were looking back and referring to the main Adventure crew (not 02), they left out Mei :p

03 - A Jou episode, which shows where he was probably inspired to become a Digimon doctor (vet?), as shown in the 02 epilogue. Apparently Digimon can bleed in the real world? Huh, ok.

04 - Piyomon and Palmon want to Jogress evolve like the 02 Digimon can, and come up with some crazy combinations.

05 - Gotsumon and Pumpmon are back! Well, this was a weird one >_>

New Adventurus of Shinji got delayed again.
The official Twitter account for the Evangelion franchise announced on Thursday that Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time (Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||), the new Evangelion film, will not open on January 23 as planned. The staff stated they are delaying the film again after careful consideration due to the new state of emergency declared in four prefectures in Japan on January 8, and then extended to a total of 11 prefectures on Wednesday.

The staff stated they will reveal a new release date at a later time.

Maybe this take is ice cold at this point, but the Thrice Upon a Time Evangelion subtitle makes it sound like a secret Twice Upon a Time sequel. That being said, can anyone confirm George Lucas also didn't produce the latest Evangelion movie? lol

Edit: Googling Twice Upon a Time made me realize that there was a Netflix drama with the same title that people will probably know more than some obscure cartoon movie from the 80's. Oh well.

Yuru Camp S2 Ep 1

So happy this is back. This is exactly what I wanted: a relaxed pacing, gorgeous backgrounds accompanied by a lovely soundtrack and some camping tips here and there. Love the new OP and ED as well.

Rin with the bike is so badass. I really dig her full biker design.

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town Episode 1

I'm into it. Not isekai but OP mode fantasy.

Sad about the delay to the Evangelion movie but it's understandable.

Yuru Camp Season 2, Episode 2:

No matter how comfy the show gets it is never selling me on winter camping,

I'm right there with you. I can't even do summer tenting, because I wake up freezing, no matter what the weather is :x I'll just watch anime people do it, from the comfort of my (not a tent in the middle of winter) home. Didn't even know winter camping was even a thing, but guess it is in Japan?

By the way, if you're like me and don't have a Funi sub, Promised Neverland and Jobless Reincarnation (amongst others) are on Hulu as well thanks to their partnership.

Did Amazon give up on anime? It seems like it's been ages since they've broadcast anything. Blade of the Immortal was the last show they had that I noticed and that's been about a year now. Prior to that there were seemingly a few shows per season. I wonder if there is a second season of Vinland Saga if they'll air it..

Cells At Work with that clutch vaccine episode right in time. Probably should force covid anti vaxxers to watch it so they actually understand what a vaccine is from now on.

Yeah. I'm not sure how much longer their single long term contract runs, but they stopped licensing stuff in general.
turns out requiring a $100+ year sub in order to buy the $5 sub to anime on top of that, and having only a handful of shows wasn't worth it... I wonder why.
