The Girls und Panzer examples especially amuse me because I like the idea that this ultra-rich Japanese school loves Italy so much that they decided to build a full-scale reproduction of Rome on their giant ship.

man the Clever LN Dialogue really makes the mc a huge creeper, pretty much every scene he talks to a girl he makes some kind of sexual comment about them. With Ararararagi/Monogatari it's at least honest and consistent with the self-indulgent nisio hyperreality he exists in.

Really demonstrates Araki's creativity especially considering that Sex Pistols isn't a punch ghost.
So Sentai apparently got Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends, and I think that's great.

Be warn, that this set is missing some extras from the original release, biggest one being the short movie special.
it's not even in print here anymore and i don't think it has since the original ADV licensing so i guess it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make

Day 1 of AnimeNYC was pretty good despite the weird start with the line up in the cold before properly letting us in at 10:30 (Not 10)

looks like the blu ray is back in stock now (I'm going through the sale) you just have to choose it from the drop down as it defaults to dvd for some reason.
There's a pop-up that says out of stock when you try to add it to your cart.

it's a lot of stuff (added up to $414) but there is literally nothing Sentai sells that isn't a preorder or familiar of Zero that I don't own from them now that I would want >.>

You can't case a joint without knowing what you're looking for. That was they're whole problem.

7 episodes in and i still haven't dropped out cause of idol songs, that's quite the accomplishment.
I always get at least a few solid laugh per episode. I also like how the characters (well, Junko, Ai and Saki) develops.
Still, how come nobody's recognizing these girls? Family? Friends? Ai's former band members who are at the same fucking event? I always thought the journalist was going to be the one noticing it but no, he's just a fan now.
I mean yeah they could have edited it better but honestly i prefer this than any PV that completely spoils what the show is all about.

Filler episode and kinda dumb. On the positive side, it does spend more time showing Seth, Doc, and Mélie interacting with each other before leaving on their first adventure, which isn't a bad thing. The episode also had a couple of good reaction faces.

Hgnn, some great prices, but unfortunately it's Sentai. I can't stand their releases (blind bought Kids on the Slope and Penguindrum from them before - two great series stuck with their terrible dubs and dub scripts for the subs).
Please direct more Shinbo. I miss you :(
