I guess the ones that stick out the most would be the mini-games you did on Island Tours in New Leaf, Brewster and the coffee shop and the Nintendo-themed items. I'd love to see something similar to the Happy Homes Showcase from NL brought back as wellWhat big features are people expecting/asking for just out of curiosity?
Does this mean I can finally move between my Switch and Switch Lite?
I'd say it's clear that major support has been winding down for a while
Current day Nintendo won't drop their biggest seller like that, they'll milk this for years to come.I'd say it's clear that major support has been winding down for a while
I think at best we'll see Brewster added alongside the festivale stuff added in late January, then the Mario furniture in a final content patch in March
after that we'll get stability patches and maybe the occasional crossover item like the Ring-fit ring
I wouldn't rule out a big expansion like ACNL Welcome Amiibo later down the line.I'd say it's clear that major support has been winding down for a while

New Horizons will go down in AC history as the incredibly anemic one that was so cool nobody really cared lmaoHolidays look nice as expected, the Christmas items look particularly great, and the extra storage and hairstyles are great little additions. Shame there still isn't anything more substantial to these updates, the game badly needs more meat on its bones.
Hah, they're the exact same things that made my wife cheer the most as well. Sitting down on the floor with your villagers is a game changer. My girlfriend got so happy about two things:
You can now sit
The expanded storage
She's not a gamer at all, but she's spent 200+ hours in ACNH since June, and absolutely loves it to this day. Each time a short animal crossing update rolls out she acts like me when its E3. It makes me happy :)

these are good points. I think they'll drop it after a year like they dropped Splatoon and maybe bring it back in some capacity laterI wouldn't rule out a big expansion like ACNL Welcome Amiibo later down the line.
Sounds like it's still not data sync unfortunately. Sounds a lot more like the old 3DS data transfer which was limited in how often you could do it.Does this mean I can finally move freely between my Switch and Switch Lite?
The single player transfer is actually more than I expected, which is a nice surprise. Bummer you still need to do it with two Switch systems instead of using cloud saves, but better than I expected.

What did you expect?
January! I can feel it in my bones.
