gamestop just went and died.
amazon is showing out of stock so I don't know if it went live and instantly died at some point or not.
I'm okay with missing these. Not a fan of Samus's pose and I probably won't get interested in EMMI's design until I actually play the game.
Their quick sellout does worry me for any subsequent Smash amiibo, but at least those are usually easier to get. If we get FP2 amiibo it will probably be announced at the Kazuya presentation.

So happy i snagged mine, did the Monster Hunter Stories 2 stuff already go out? i snagged a CE but missed the other amiibo.
Some were saying they just weren't taking pre-orders in store, nor online for whatever reason and just to buy the day of release :/
thats wild, ok well i will keep a look out still in case something changes. Got a complete US Collection and im trying to stay up to date.
Yeah I have no idea what prompt that decision, but I keep a tab open watching for it, but nada.
I think it's safe to assume at least Min-Min and Steve then. Byleth's Amiibo got revealed like 9-10 months after reveal/release.
I'd say that maybe the chip shortage impacted it, but considering the other Amiibo being released, I don't think that's the case. So most likely the first two Vol 2. Maybe Sephiroth if we're lucky.
Honestly, I really think the bots and scalpers have done a number with amiibos. Like I have been unable to preorder the last two (metroid and Zelda) and I got the alert both times within 10 minutes. For as much trouble as the Smash amiibos were, at least it felt like I had a chance. heck I had a bigger window to pre-order a PS5 lol.

I logged in to my gamestop account and the pre-order button popped up but it said it can not be added to the cart. Why make the button clickable if it's sold out?

Will there be further restocks of the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo prior to launch? Is that something we would even know?
Apparently some just went up at Walmart 30 mins ago, so you just need to keep checking (on the usual Twitters) I'm sure more will be listed closer to release.
Crossing my fingers for Min-Min and Steve Amiibo reveals on Monday. Need some ARMS and Minecraft merch in my collection.

Looks like they scrunched her ARMs up a bit, which was always the concern I had with any ARMs amiibos since they'd potentially be hard to balance.
The length to release is a bit surprising, we might see the rest announced before that if the final fighter is due for 2021 like they said. She might not be a lone release in that case. It'll be weird if these are still coming into late 2022 or 2023, since DLC support will (presumably) be long done by then.
Still, I wanted to see how they'd jazz up a Steve amiibo (since he's just a few squares otherwise) or how they'd handle Pyra/Mithra at all, so I guess we're still waiting there.

Dug out my Samus Returns amiibo while re-playing Federation Force and Samus Returns today.
I sold off my boxed Samus Aran & Zero Suit smash figures when the "Returns" pack launched because I generally don't like to have duplicates of characters, (and the Returns figures are so much better) but I kinda regret it because apparently there's content in Samus Returns that is unlocked with the smash figures.
Oh well.
Also wish they'd reprint Skyward Sword Link so I could nab one to match the Zelda+Loftwing amiibo.

Holy crap! I had NO idea there were amiibo for Monster Hunter Stories 2. I don't have high hopes of being able to get these, but maybe I'll get lucky. Is there a good import site for getting amiibo? I've never had to do that before!
No to both :/ I'll probably call my GS tomorrow night to see if they even got them IN. Just remembered that the Rise Amiibo had 2 of them get delayed, so who knows if stores will even be getting them in on time.
*sigh* then it's completely up in the air. Maybe, maybe not, one day... IF ONLY THERE WAS A WAY TO ORDER AHEAD OF TIME TO BE ASSURED A COPY...
Teaming with GameStop is a disaster almost every single time. I've always had much better luck with Best Buy or even Target exclusives.
Looks like now thete's a chance to win some silver and gold prizes... only 10 of them, and I'm not hunting for that grail (so I don't count the prizes :x)

The local GameStop I go to said they have Ena amiibo arriving sometime tomorrow, but that's it. They do have the Collector's Edition ready to sell first thing in the morning though.
I called mine and they said that the CEs are also ready, but looks like the shipments aren't on the way yet. I'll go in tomorrow at opening, just in case (plus I wanna get my Pokemon card release that also comes out tomorrow...)
