Note: Please don't try to trade bootleg cards or other NFC altered items. While its fine to use them yourself, everyone here is looking to trade the legitimate AC Amiibo cards.
Rules/Guide:
Trading is simple! Here's a handy little format you can use:
- Remember to use caution when trading; generally we're all pretty good people here I like to think, but there's always a risk. You should check the user out and if your account is newer, you should offer to send your cards first.
- It's always a good idea to keep your list regularly updated. Use strikethroughs when things are gone/delete them from your list, and try to provide a date when you last updated.
- There's no need to repost your list multiple times. Use your discretion to update your list/link to it if you've updated it recently on a new page.
- Shipping through the regular mail is probably fine, granted you put the cards into a plastic toploader. I don't think I've heard of anyone having problems shipping via regular mail, but if you want to ensure stuff is delivered safe and sound you should consider shipping in a bubble mailer or smaller box. This can get expensive so make sure you discuss shipping arrangements if necessary.
- Regular Villagers will bring that character to your campsite allowing you to talk to them and invite them to live on your island. This will happen after you invite them 3 times. Each time a regular villager comes to the campsite, they'll want you to make them a DIY recipe item. NPC Villagers can usually be brought to Harvey's Photopia Island to take photos with them, but only if the character appears in NH. Otherwise they will not appear. EVERY character that has an amiibo card, figure and the Villager can be scanned in and granted the player a Poster of them to decorate their house with!
