Fun Dark tonight. Both Elevation & Dark were under an hour this week. I like it. Quick and easy (Title of my sex tape lol)
- Anthony Ogogo had a nice video package. These small videos for the rap album are good. All of them have highlighted the talent well
- Really dug Ben Bishop in his match with 10. He's a tall dude who has a cocky personality. Could be a fun staple on Dark
- Luther was hilarious this week. The crowd was laughing along with his yelling.
- As always the commentary was great. Taz & Excalibur are my favorite team currently.

RVD's Shawn Michaels impression here gets me every fucking time. It's incredible.
Also Shane Helms seems cool.
TK made it sound like he was going to announce it publicly when it was a done deal and there was a chance he was going to announce it last Friday if it got done. Feels like as soon as it's done he's going to announce it. Hope the deal didn't fall apart.

Definitely agree on his main point. While I would not go so far as to say that everything of importance must happen on TV, AEW absolutely could do a better job of highlighting what happened elsewhere, providing context for matches and presenting some matches as important as they should be. It can be alienating, or sometimes just sloppy presentation.

I really want this Penta Dark stuff to actually lead to something. Penta getting some singles shine finally, breaking arms, terrorising everyone across the card, and then having something happen when Fenix eventually recovers and comes back. Maybe he is upset at what his brother has been doing, and there is a feud between them with Fenix trying to get his bro back. That would be dope as hell. Or maybe even Penta turns to Black's side and goes on a run that way leading to Fenix attempting to turn him back, which would be amazing too.
Penta is cool as fuck, and we really haven't seen any of that in the two and a half years he has been there. Their matches are fire, but Fenix kind of takes a lot of that attention and we never really got to see how damn entertaining Penta himself can be outside of 5 star tag matches.
But I have this nagging feeling in my gut that this is to put Black over and then Penta will disappear for a bit and all this will be forgotten. I really, really hope not.

Ok cool I guess Danhausen isn't with Best Friends. I think having him popping up in different factions/segments is probably the best use of him. He can help bring new life to stuff that's getting stale or even make a disastrous attempt to align with a faction where he catches a beat down for HEAT. (House of Black, anyone?)
I hope they come up with a good way for PnP not winning either of these battle royales.
Even though it was a blink and you'll miss it thing, them pinning Jericho for me should be them putting the IC stuff behind them, feeling good about themselves, and confidently winning the battle royale. But I just don't see them winning it with both the Bucks and Redragon in there and all the story implications that can have.
I really fear they're gonna be treated like just another team again tonight because it was clear last week that the end of the match was less about pushing PnP and more about finding a way to make Jericho vs Eddie happen.

Perhaps the final three teams will be PnP, YB and ReDragon and the Elite teams up to eliminate them.

That's all thats announced, but I assume there will also be segments that build to Revolution matches (Britt/Rosa, Punk/MJF, Page/Cole, Danielson/Mox)
That's very few things being announced for today. So some stuff might be getting more TV time (like the TBS Championship and the Battle Royale), but I imagine quite a few surprises could happen too
Mostly stuff we've seen before when it comes to House of Black and PAC in the middle of this, but the Inner Circle and Mox/Danielson hype videos are gooooood. Tense music and dramatic slow-mo editing.
Switching gears a bit, I wonder if we'll see Jade keeping the green hair for tonight. The tag battle royal should be good times as well, and I legit feel that Danielson and Moxley are currently in the middle of the best storyline in all of pro wrestling.

I hope so too. World Title story has been the weakest storyline. It's been good, but it hasn't been for too long, and it's just that the other ones are pretty strong in comparison.
Winner has to be Bucks or ReDragon tonight and the other next week right? That will further split the group and force Adam to choose
I'm really hopeful for this one, because it's described as just a battle royale, not a casino battle royale. I hope that means every team gets a proper entrance and countdown, with randomized order. The casino element takes away from the event significantly.
Either that, or Bucks and ReDragon ruin each others' chances and they get their own featured match at Revolution.
I think I'd prefer that. Every PPV should have a featured Young Bucks matchup. Let Jungle Express have their championship match without being overshadowed as the the Bucks match of the show.
When do we get a Young Bucks va ReDragon custody of Adam Cole ladder match with Adam Cole suspended above the ladder in a shark cage for dramatic effect?

Good point. They didn't clarify how it would work with teams, but I assumed the same teams could be in both. Like you said I don't think there are enough teams to not include some of these teams.
