What?

Did he forget that we partied up with the real socialists in order to fight the Nazi scum? I mean Yalta should frankly blow these peoples minds...

"something this country wasn't built on" reminds me of something...

He is right, you know. The National Socialist German Workers Party. Hitler and the Nazis were damn socialists.

Conservative whites really do believe that Nazis were socialists. Because socialist was in the name.

That's it. That's their only proof.

Just like I am a pitcher plant.

it's not the first time Republicans have used the word "socialism" as interchangeable with both "universal healthcare" AND "fascism."

I'm guessing buried in the logic there is some good ole conservative history bastardization I've heard a million times here(in the south):

"Well, what do you think 'National Socialist German Workers Party' meant libtard!"

IDK, what do you think The Democratic People's Republic of North Korea says about North Korea?

For lovers
He wasn't that good a coach, either!

No, no he was not!

I knew Alabama would elect a football coach at some point but fucking Tubs was the one who wanted the job? Jesus.

(For those unaware- Tubs won relatively little of note and is better known for slinking out of three, yes, three different coaching positions)

Alabama probably learns about "The War of Northern Aggression" instead of the American Civil War, so I wouldn't be surprised if they learn something like this these days.
I'm not american so I don't fully know about that topic and I understand the USA foundation is very important for you. But how much do you study about WW2 at school? I'm really curious.

So his dad fought in Europe to stop socialism? Is he saying his dad was also a facist nazi fuck who went to Europe to fight with his fellow men? Yes I know that isn't what he is saying and he is just a stupid fuck but for someone to be this stupid and elected to government is once again an embarrassing showing of the American education system.

Alabama elected a college football coach to the United States Senate who had never held elected office and had no qualifications. So this is hardly surprising to hear from him.

As a reminder, this numskull shitty football coach has the same voting power in the Senate as each of the two people representing California or New York.

At least when shitheads get into the House they're somewhat drowned out.

I've been talking to my Mom a lot recently about how I'm a leftist and when I mentioned socialism she was like "Weren't nazis socialist?" This shit gets pushed by the right on purpose. There is a reason they conflate things like "Leftist, communist, socialist, progressive, liberal, and democrat" all into the same pile. They are constantly arguing in bad faith.

I'm not sure it's only conservatives sadly.
One of America's great cold war ideological projects was to make the case the Nazism and socialism are the same thing, it's great way to justify what we did in Latin America and to periodically purge the American left, and I think a whole lot of people still believe it's true on at least some level.

Tommy Tuberville sounds like the name of a traveling con man who scams a small town out of all their money
