Congratulations to one of the best games ever made.

Not my favorite RTS series but definitely one of the most memorable.
I remember spending countless weekend nights on my father's laptop (the only computer capable of running the game in my home) playing this game with my friends. I played 2 a lot more than 1, though.
Hope AoE4 is better than 3; something about it never "clicked" as well as the first two, and I'm not sure if it was the more advanced time period or not.

My computer teacher in HS introduced my friends and I to this. I don't know how we were allowed to play the game during class but that was a dope 45 minutes.
AoEII and AoM are far and away my favourite RTSs of all time. I don't have much faith in 4 but nothing would make me happier than a true renaisance. The endless string of Remasters and Definitive Editions have whet my appetite somewhat but it's time for them to deliver something new rather than getting people to buy something two and three times over.
AoE was one of my first experiences of a real game when I was young. It's such a shame that there's nothing equivalent for kids today.

Excellent taste! AoM is the best! It also deserves this Definitive Edition treatment!
Jesus, November has Doom Eternal, Death Stranding and AoE2: DE. And I don't have a Switch so I'm leaving Pokemon out. All of this in like what a week? two weeks?
I love this game, been playing it since probably a bit after release (2000 or 2001 I think), never been too competitive about it, but still playing it a lot, specially with friends

This is one of those games that I never "got". I played it quite a while but I never liked it like most people did, and I always loved RTS. I did play a lot of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds though.
