Player One Podcast's Greg Sewart pronounced it "Reh-set-err-uh" like, a week after the forum was created, and it stuck with me.
Hey man being half wrong ain't so bad.
silly dog! dogs can't be mods.
::sad voice:: okay =(
👀
no wonder the owner thinks it's resetera, he employs dogs!
LOL
This is the equivalent of .jif
It's still Reset Era to me, dammit!
There's a laundry list of reasons why people prefer the more popular option, including look at how the forums are labeled/the logo itself lol
Perhaps you should take a 'good hard look' at even what it the off-topic forum is actually called. It says it at the top of the page you are on. EtcetEra. Not EtCetera. Even that should be Et-cet Era based on how it is it presented.If you didn't get that it was 'Re-cetera' the moment you saw that the off-topic forum was called 'Etcetera', you need to take a good long look at yourself.
for you, today was a day when a pronunciation changed the very course of your destinyTo all of you who didn't choose Reset Era.
You are now my enemy.

The z-grade 'pun' is obviously where this crappy pronunciation came from, but every other element of the presentation clearly pushes toward the full normal pronunciation of 'Era'. Even if the logo was not two colours clearly separating the words, it even has a 'slash' effect/mmotif on the t of the 'reset' and the e of the 'era' to further imply division of the two words.
It's def not the true PRIME timeline.
For those that can't view the tweet:
"Hi, I'm Cerium. I run 'that one big gaming forum' and I'm here to tell you that it is pronounced REH-SET-EH-RAH." (like etcetera)
Team REE-SET EE-RAH FUCKING LOST
