They are pretty brief and to the point. Unique to the character. I just remember watching some of these same things briefly for TNA and it was like a dumpster fire.

To be fair, seeing so many people with Darby's face paint in the AEW crowds did remind me a lot of Crow Sting

I don't think there's much of any other comparison between Darby and Sting

This is missing a lot without the other wrestlers in the audience but I was even surprised they were allowed to do that last week with the restrictions in place.

Kinda hate this cody commentary tbh. Cody sounds like a freaking baseball commentator. Way too much tech talk

Needs some other wrestlers in the crowd or a heel on the mic

Right ? You're dealing with top top tier wrestling minds on commentary , they'll have plenty to offer. Cody being more " analytical " is fine, as. this is the first time ever they've had commentary like this I find it interesting. Then again I'm used to and appreciate the traditional two man sports commentary booths

Did Darby have a contact lens in?

Also, I'm kinda hoping we see his partner make an appearance in AEW sooner rather than later. An intergender between those two and Kip/Penelope could be really good.
