Which mission exactly? Spoiler if please.

I just now finished it with 17770 points and just crashed before getting mission complete. Yay....
He really liked the VR portion. Called it a gamechanger and the best VR experience he's had yet.
Right sorry I mean what does it entail? i don't remember exact missions by number.
I'm going to dive in but It's going to be hard to beat Captain Astro and beat saber.
Fucking hell. Stop for today mate, this is very frustrating I can feel you :(I just now finished it with 17770 points and just crashed before getting mission complete. Yay....

Yep how dare people be frustrated a big game in 2019 doesn't support their higher end console for reasons.
On the contrary, we're frustrated because we wanted to get the game but now we have the dilemma of supporting a game that doesn't even properly support our platform. My guess is most people saying this never actually intended to buy it.
Don't get me wrong, it is shitty, but it's not the end of the world.

SkillUp's review is up. Might be good for newcomers because he's relatively new to the series and learns the appeal of it through his time with 7
Is yours digital? I'm talking about the code that comes with the retail versions.
I pre-ordered it right now on PSN and AC5 showed up as a download. Go do it, now.So if I buy this on the PlayStation store I'll get ace combat 5 for free still. I'm in the US
Are you a fan of the series? Would you agree with his complaints on missile locks and maneuvering? Or are there more effective strategies?Great fucking review. I love seeing people explain what I just instinctively like. It's like "yep that's exactly why I like it, crazy I never really thought of it till now".
From what I'm reading the VR campaign is short though, around and an hour or two.

83No idea. Reviews drop in 5 hours right?
Lets predict the metric I say 75 to 80.
Is each mission really an hour long? Is there any way to save mid mission?

There are some levels shorter than that are there are absolutely check points in some of them depending on difficulty. When dying it asks you. START FROM CHECKPOINT.According to the review, and how the rest of the games are, no—no checkpoints.
Also this mission asks me if I want to START FROM CHECKPOINT but it restarts the whole missionThere are some levels shorter than that are there are absolutely check points in some of them depending on difficulty. When dying it asks you. START FROM CHECKPOINT.
Not in anihilation missions. You die, you start over.I can probably say this as the game is out now in my territory - there are no save points mid-mission. There are 1-2 checkpoints though.

He clarified saying missions are sbout 20 to 25 minutes, they took him an hour because he failed that many times.

I've got to say, there were definitely some red flags for me in that review that have me considering canceling my pre-order. He describes the game as being punishingly difficult. 20-30 minute mission with insta fail rules that you must follow precisely or you fail. Are there difficulty settings? Is the lowest one still really difficult?
3 difficulty levels. There are no INSTA fail missions exactly. I guess you could consider 1 or 2 particular starts of levels where you need to do something. But they aren't under any real stress. So I guess could consider those instafail but its rare and I can't see you failing it.Okay, thanks.

'since 6?' Aren't we just now on 7?I'm excited but cautious about this title. Haven't played an Ace Combat since 6 on Xbox 360 with the ace edge flight controller.

And the briefings. Take into account the enemy types , chatter, briefings, and map.It gets easier once you realise you really need to pay attention to the map and the radio chatter.
