This is interesting. Really interested to see how the Adaptive Triggers are used and if it feels good or gimmicky.

Returnal seems like it could be great, but man...being a rogue-lite I just don't know. The only one of those I've ever enjoyed is Hades. Maybe this will be number 2, who knows

I think people may be sleeping on the adaptive triggers and 3D audio, they both sound like they can add a lot if used well.

I haven't bought a GT game since PS3, but GT7 looks so good and adaptive triggers sound so interesting that I may just buy it Day 1 depending on what other games launch around it!

Yeah, 3D Audio works with any headset/headphones. You're still getting a stereo signal to your ears, there's no special hardware in there.

The processing is done on the console and then sent to you as a signal that can be heard with any headset. Same as Dolby Atmos for headphones now, it's just Sony's proprietary version of it.

Can't wait for Forbidden West. Gonna avoid everything about that game as the plague as I really like to go in knowing as little as possible, but that's a story I'm really keen seeing developing further.

Yep. to be fair, Sony has yet to really open the information floodgates on these features. In an alternate reality where covid never happened they were planning lots of events and PS5 experience booths and we would have known alot more by now.

Whoa at the trigger stuff with Returnal, and also that it's confirmed to be using the 3D audio tech. Hype through the roof now.

I'm not into roguelikes much, and prefer roguelites that have a sense of meta progression of some sort, but I will try this game regardless.

Much like the 99% backwards compatible number, it'll be there for legal reasons. At the start of this generation some people tried to sue them because Killzone Shadowfall used checkerboarding in some situations and wasn't "proper" HD, so they're just covering their asses against petty assholes.
