Sorry, not in the mood to celebrate a violent homophobe and sexist.
Ive been binging Monk the past week so he's the Monk guy to me too lol.
I thought it could have upset Hollywood in Production if it was really strong, and both sound award.
Monk is one of those shows that I need to watch someday.
So far this is a fun show tonight I think. We've seen so much worse Oscars shows in the past few years...
This is my first time listening to it, and it feels like a 15 second song extended to 4 minutes.

It's embarrassing because they didnt allow Kevin Hart to host because of his past tweets but they allow Eminem to come sing whose songs contain a buncha homophobic lyrics. I guess better word would be hypocritical
Yeah, this was my one miss so far tonight (caveat being that I didn't predict documentary short nor animated short). I thought the Academy would give more credence to the work that had to go into the set design to make 1917's one-shot seamlessly flow.
The movie was so keen on hearing "the tension in the room", so to speak, and then all of a sudden you have these tender-melodramatic musical cues dip in and out.
Randy Newman doing a Toy Story song makes me think of the old Family Guy joke and it fucks me all the way up that it was from literal 1999.

I'm probably the biggest Em fan on ERA, and even I'll admit that there are times he forces rhymes. This was one of them and it was a bit silly. The song's popularity made it more apparent that he could have spent 5 more minutes rhyming with "already"
