Thank you! Was Mark's audio bad in the most recent ep? It sounded better during recording at least!Happy Birthday John! (think I'm late)
Can your birthday present be Mark getting a decent mic?
>_>
Oh yeah, you guys wanted feedback for last episode - much, much better across the board. Props to the audio guy.Thank you! Was Mark's audio bad in the most recent ep? It sounded better during recording at least!

The most I'd expect would be some cosmestic rewards for playing and/or 100-percenting the first or maybe some bonuses. I can't imagine you'd be hopping into the next one at level 50.I was surprised to hear some members of the cast expect that saves will carry over into the Final Fantasy VII Remake part 2.
I think there's less than zero chance of that happening, and despite it being a continuation of the story, it should be for all practical reasons considered a sequel to the initial Remake, with no continuations of stats or inventory. Given that they made a chunk of the original into a full game, I think we can expect the followups to be more like sequels anyway.
Like with X-2, XIII-2/Lightning Returns, and to a different degree Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, each followup game has it's own arc of progression, rather than continuing one consistent one. It'll be "Final Fantasy VII Remake 2" or "VII-2" or maybe a subtitle.
All of the other games with save imports that were listed In the episode have done skill/inventory resets across the board, and only import the saves for story choice decisions reasons, which FFVII Remake doesn't really do.

Agree - they'll probably start the characters off from scratch again. There might be some bonuses or extras for those with existing saves, but I doubt it'll be a direct continuation.I was surprised that so many members of the cast expect that saves will carry over into the Final Fantasy 7 Remake part 2. Can't wait to listen to this today - seems we will be getting some chu-hai chat?
lol Thanks for the tag: It's no hyouketsu, but I'll allow it.Graeme broke street date and bought a crate of Double Pineapple Strong.
False
It sounds so dry though. I get why it's said that way (it's one word) but as a grammar person, it drives me nuts. It sounds like the name of a drug lol. It's a hill I'm willing to die on. It's like the GIF vs JIF debate. The creator may say it's JIF but I think the hard G sounds better.False
After almost 2 years, we finally know how "ResetEra" is pronounced
For those that can't view the tweet: “Hi, I’m Cerium. I run ‘that one big gaming forum’ and I’m here to tell you that it is pronounced REH-SET-EH-RAH.” (like etcetera) Team REE-SET EE-RAH FUCKING LOSTwww.resetera.com
Kind of like a White Claw that has an artificial sweetener. It's close to double the alcohol content of a White Claw, but the sweetener kind of cancels out a lot of that flavor. The sweetener also makes it taste a little smoother?
No idea what White Claw is, don't think we get it in the UK. Is it like an alcoholic soft drink or something?Kind of like a White Claw that has an artificial sweetener. Rice Wine on Brewer Street has some kinds of chu-hai, as do the Longdan shops in Shoreditch/Old Stret which stock Shikuwasa and Yuzu flavoured chu-hais. Sadly, the way that Hyoketsu and some of the other chu-hais are made make it too expensive to import into the UK to sell so you're only going to find the cheaper versions that aren't 100% the real deal IMO.No idea what White Claw is, don't think we get it in the UK. It's an unsweetened alcoholic seltzer water that's around 5% alcohol and flavored with different types of fruit. The only calories come from the alcohol so it doesn't have much flavor. Strongs have a bit more flavor. No idea what White Claw is, don't think we get it in the UK. Is it like an alcoholic soft drink or something?

Thanks for the tip! I sent mine into Nintendo last year when they started to drift, but I've heard the problem returns. Will keep this in mind.I'm not sure if it would work on Roy's Switch Lite (I don't see why it wouldn't), but I just used WD-40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner on my joycons and it completely fixed the drift problem. I got it at Home Depot for $7, sprayed it at the base of the analog stick while turning the stick with my thumb. I let the joycon rest on its face for about 30 minutes to let it dry, plugged it in, and BOOM: no drift. Did it for two joycons and both are working perfectly now.
Apparently this it's probably a temporary fix and I'll have to repeat this process. I'm just glad it works for now.
