Selfish people wanting to be more comfortable, at the expense of other peopleThese are all awful but I want to nominate "taking it off in public to take a phone call" to the list, which I see a LOT and don't understand.
I think this has to do something with language and I'm not understanding it.It's a rapid response IQ test.
Excellent way to let me know you have the mental capacity of a fucking potato

Why this strong response to just an answer to the poll and what this has to do with mental capacity? Honest question.
Oh ok, thanks! Then it was a language thing and me not understanding it. Now i get it, sorry! The response isn't about those answers, but the people their answers are about. In other words, it's (rightly) insulting people who wear their mask with their nose out.
From the responses I got when I told them to wear a mask, people seem to think they need to take it off so they can be understood. Which makes no sense, but that's how morons are. These are all awful but I want to nominate "taking it off in public to take a phone call" to the list, which I see a LOT and don't understand.

Dick nosing is stupid, but at least it doesn't directly put others at risk.
I feel your pain with these posts. I see these behaviors at the Art Institute of Chicago all the time.Yeah, I get that. I'm talking in the context of a museum visit here, that's why I'm (clearly) annoyed a lot.. it's been a struggle, getting visitors to wear masks both properly and at all times.
Yeah, while I don't wear glasses anymore, I know (from other situations) how annoying foggy glasses can be. I'm just pissed at people acting like this makes them exempt from the rules everyone has to follow. We got workers with glasses wearing masks for hours at a time, and visitors who act like they're being bullied when they have to follow similar rules.
I know I'm using this thread to vent, but there are people who just... take off their masks. And when you talk to them, they say that they "can't breathe". Offering to escort them out of the museum and refund their ticket is usually a good way to get them to mask up.
You are supposed to keep them on and in addition sneeze into your elbow. But if you don't have them on in the first place because no one is around you can sneeze into your elbow or into a tissue. Just need to be aware that those could carry droplets now. The goal is to prevent those droplets to get to other people however way you do it. That's why social distancing is so powerful.Taking off your mask to sneeze is not ok in a public area even if you're alone. That stuff will be in the air long after you leave.
Seriously?the coughing and sneezing thing I can almost excuse as a split second reaction and the person making a bad decision.
In their defense, it's probably hard to wear a mask under the beard.I really hate when I see gross guys wearing a mask over their beard. Like, what the hell is that?

I'm just confused what you're talking about, now. How would you correctly wear a mask NOT over your beard? The beard is on my face. Do you have an image? It really looks like a beard holder. I've seen people with beards wear masks correctly. These people aren't even trying.
