SHEEZUS! I contemplated on the Deluxe for 50 on Amazon when the PS5 ver was $30. Then I cancelled and copped the PS4 ver for $25. Now the PS5 version is $25 and the deluxe is got dang $35. What a rollercoaster.
Yeah I agree. As a dude who is a total cheap ass when it comes to games and watches sales and the secondhand market like a hawk, I've seen a ton of all-time lows for a lot of new and recent games. Great stuff this year.
i mean you can just wait till after black friday if nothing happens, win win. :)Should I keep waiting for a sale on the Xbox expansion card or just buy full price
Looks like most of them are going for $50. They used to be $40 each so the jump is a bit of a bummer
I played it on PS5 and had no issues, but I've read people say it performs slightly better on series x.
Thanks for the feedback!I played on the 5 and was impressed. Not 1 issue comes to mind.
Beat it on PS5, the dual sense is nice with the haptics and triggers. I heard Xbox version had input lag at launch but that might have been fixed

That's kind of what I'm torn on, I heard it runs ever so slightly better on XSX, but if the DualSense or 3D audio implementation are top notch, it might be a worthwhile tradeThis was the summary in the Digital Foundry thread:
- In Non RT mode. Both PS5 and SX consoles deliver 99.9% locked 60 FPS experience. DF did not encounter a single frame rate drop in their testing.
- RT mode on SX and PS5 retains the same visual quality.
- Both consoles do a good job retaining 60 FPS in most areas. However some sequences can push both consoles hard to the high 40's or low 50's.
- Series X generally has a couple of frames advantage in stress areas. 7 to 10%.
- With a VRR display, these drops are negligible to the human eye.
- Xbox SX|SS have an approx 8 second load when loading a save, PS5 has 1.5~ second load in same scenarios.
- DF comments on the controller feature usage on both the DS and Xbox Pad. Rumble triggers etc are used.
Sounds like they're mostly the same with some slight performance advantages on the Series X version and slower loading when loading a save.
same, i'm in a symbiotic digital only relationship with a friend and its been VERY hard to not buy like 10 games cause we're gonna wait for digital sales instead...
I've seen it quite a few times over at Slickdeals go for 190-200 range. Not a huge discount but I think that's all you're going to getShould I keep waiting for a sale on the Xbox expansion card or just buy full price
Oh man this is wild. I wish I got in on this
Was this ordered from Microsoft?
Idk this is my dilemma lol. It's part of the reason I haven't bought the game yet despite the positive reception, can't make up my mind which platform
Heh damn, no way this goes through.
last year actually. With a few dollar difference give or take. I know cuz I bought a couple lol. Digital versions were not the same price tho. What? This year is the best BF in awhile. When was the last time we got a bunch of 1st party Switch games @ $27? Digital versions were also the same price which is unheard-of. I have never spent this much money at Gamestop on BF deals for years.

I'm needing to get one for my dad but that looks way too complicated for him haha. The man straight up doesn't use a computer or the internet. I wonder if there's a decent sale on one that's basically just a physical dial to adjust heat and cool timeI ordered this one last night
America's Test Kitchen said it was the best
Game Pass is your best friend now...What the heck.
I have absolutely no idea why or how, but I got one of those emails from Microsoft giving the chance to get an Xbox Series X bundle. I have no idea why, or how: I hardly ever use the MS store (as in, it's been years), and the email was almost 3 hours old when I got it, but I still managed to get one. It's supposed to be arriving in 2 or 3 business days... I don't know what to do...
Exactly. They should just open for an hour, if they must, and then tell their employees to close shop.I wish these poor GameStop associates could be allowed to just close the store and go home. It was wild for half an hour and it's been dead since.
You gotta keep looking, and look for used and physical. I saw a $43.99 at some point earlier. There's probably negative chance of a Sword/Shield price cut yeah? I was hoping for a $40 drop like last year but I guess BD/SP drop makes it impossible....sad
Game pass... Lots and lots of game pass...What the heck.

There is a really cool part in the game were on PS5 it uses the controller speaker. Even my husband was kind of taken aback at the interesting utilization as he was walking by.Thanks for the feedback!
