Unless they changed their policy, that's what they did for all the free trials they gave out with new iPhones and other devices.
I know because I have a reminder in August to cancel. lol

Same. I never bothered with the movie though after hearing a few friends disliking it.
I get his point about earning another chance after producing one of HBO's biggest hits (they've done that sort of thing in the past, most recently giving Avenue 5 a series order to keep Armando Iannucci happy despite it being absolutely horrendous), but it's still kinda weird to hear him say that openly.
Entourage was pretty good/entertaining those first few seasons. It just went on too long. Even if it was lifestyle porn with things always working out for the crew.
$5 less than the standard price seems solid and no ads on HBO originals, just Max and other content.

Kung Fu staying above a 1 million viewers bodes well for a renewal, plus the fact that The CW renews everything. I've found the show okay so far, but not sure if I will continue watching.

Literally not a single person I know irl who at some point watched this show is still watching. I think if we had full viewers numbers for every episode, we would be genuinely impressed at the drop off.
Solar Opposites charted so I think maybe it will chart, though how high is the question...

I rarely bail on a show and even I couldn't take it anymore.
IIRC from an old article, one of their main metrics for renewal is how long people who start a show take to finish it.
That's what infuriates me, they can really cherrypick whatever stat they want to fit what they need.

Great show, really unfortunate that Alan Arkin isn't back for season 3.
It's a great hangout comedy. With shows like The Office and Parks leaving Netflix, I wonder if it has slipped into that spot of comfortable show you put on in the background. Plus the fact it lasted 7 seasons helps with the way Nielsen measures.
Looking forward to this. Recently caught up on the series earlier this year.

There's this half of season 5 and then the final final season which wrapped filming a few weeks ago.
Lucifer getting renewed to basically give the writers a chance to end it properly (after dicking around for a season) is a bit of a miracle, and then they got two extra seasons. What a weird one. lol
This sounds like it could be good. J.K. Simmons was so good on Counterpart and now on Invincible.
